How to unlock the A Graug's Heel achievement in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition - Definitive Guide

You can only get this achievement once you've progressed so far throughout the main story missions and Warchiefs are available to fight.

Firstly you need to interrogate Captains or Worms to identify if a Warchief has any weaknesses.

Depending on his weakness, you then have to introduce that weakness into the fight. Some are easier than others.

If he's afraid of fire, draw him near a fire and weaken him until you can grab him. Once you can, walk or throw him through the fire.

The easiest one is if they're afraid of the bugs, draw him under the nest and shoot it with your bow and arrow.

You can also draw in a Caragor, either by dropping bait or bringing one with you but you're reliant on it surviving long enough for you to spawn the Warchief and get it close enough to him.

Once you've chased him down and killed him, the achievement will pop.

EDIT: As stated in the comments, I'll make this crystal clear. YOU have to kill him, don't allow an NPC or a wild beast to kill him.

Just an addition to the "Caragor" fear. I tried to use it against a Warchief while in the extra mission "Kill the Warchiefs".

The Warchief was scared (special screen with the fear written on screen) but he has been killed by the Caragor, not me...

I get a rune but no achievement...

So, to be safe : trigger his fear and kill him yourself!

You might want to add that if a Warchief's skull turns green, you have made them afraid and have to KILL them to get the achievement. I got my achievement by blowing blowing up a barrel next to a Warchief that was afraid of fire. He fled, I hinted him do and killed him, then unlocked the achievement.

I don't understand how this achievement is possible because once an Uruk becomes a Warchief, he gets the passive " Fearless " which makes it impossible for him to flee.

And I checked many times, around 50-60 warchiefs, they all are fearless

I don't know if its the same 4 starting Warchiefs (After you help Ragbags become one), but I was lucky to get Zathra the Fearful as one (He is afraid of EVERYTHING!!).........soon as he arrived, I knocked down a "bee's nest", he took off running, I tackled him, pressed cn_A for intel, exited the Sauren's Army screen, cheevo popped!!!

One upvote for you, my good man!!
