Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition

no prob! although i did several missions for him.. just finished the one where he was about to get his head cut off.. but still no Vendetta missions. might have to ask a friend to die or something

Fuck this bullshit achievement. Completing vendetta missions and it's not unlocking. Fix your fucking game, WB/Monolith!!!

I love coming on here and seeing someone throwing a tantrum in the comments about an Ach, only to unlock it the same day, or the next day.

Anyone here like me, having just completed the first 5 missions wondering where the hell it is. I was offered it specifically by the game after the 'shattered minds' mission with Golem and the ghouls. Really easy little squirt too.

Killed the Uruk but no cheev popped :/

Ignore my last comment ^^ it was a delayed pop along with Ratbag The Great And Powerful. It seems live is slow atm.

I completed about (3) Vendettas so far, and I still haven't unlocked the achievement? I also still have, my WBPlay account linked to the game from like 2-3 years ago. However, I'm not sure what's going on, but I hope it's just delayed and it will eventually pop for me.

The achievement does seem to be delayed. It unlocked after completing my 4th or 5th Vendetta. Also, if you fail or get killed during a Vandetta, don't stress it, they will eventually show back up on the map again. What I did that seemed to help was, on the map screen, select a "Blue Tower" icon and do a few fast travels and advance the time.

- (X) Fast Travel
- (Y) Advance Time

Does anybody knows if there's a faster way to trigger a vendetta? I've been playing for a while and none hasn't appeared on my map.

Im playing online now with no vendetta missions. Does someone want to tram up and try to die and vise versa for this

I just kept advancing time and use the mind reading thing and then die after a bit and should show up.

I died during my first Vendetta mission. It reappeared, but after completing it no achievement. Maybe it turned into a Power Struggle? Still new to this game.

Regardless, was able to pop it on the next Vendetta.

I'm not sure it's accurate that you need to do the first 5 missions, maybe it's to complete a certain amount of progress. I've been running around the map getting collectables, forges and killing captains but only done 2 story missions and I just beat my first vendetta.

I can confirm add friend method works: I just added the player The Cherished and a Vendetta mission appeared in map. Killed the captain that killed The Cherished and avenged him. You can add me by the way, since I'm been dying a lot too there. Thanks.

Spent 2 hours trying to get this on a 100% save and had no luck getting the mission to appear. Started a new save and got a vendetta mission right after I completed the ratbag mission

Ive helped alot of people out getting this, just add me and after doing the required missions my name should appear or one of your other friends on your xbox. But I have around 7-8 msgs saying I got them the achievement good luck

I was luckily enough to unlock this one back in November. However, do you know if this will be the only unobtainable achievement for this game?

We don't currently know. The two challenge achievements may be discontinued as well but we'll have to wait and see.

Actually it was confirmed that the Test of the Ring and Test of the Wild achievements were going to be discontinued. Another member (NessNoldo in another solution I think) investigated and got a response from the developer.

Confirmed by a customer support agent in response to a leading question, and there are various reports of people being able to unlock the achievements despite connection issues.

Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s safer to assume that they will be discontinued. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not.

Its safe to assume that they have noticed a bunch of people playing again. So maybe they didnt shut them off yet ?

Would love to see more developers put patches in like this to allow achievements to be obtainable after server shutdowns. Hope other developers are closely watching this move
