I'd flag it as glitched if it doesn't unlock within 24hours, sometimes the Achievement App glitches out

It actually unlocked an hour later, quite a few achievements with this game seemed to have been delayed a bit. Were good!

This achievement never unlocked for me, even after retrying and waiting a few days.

I did this achievement/mission today and it unlocked straight away. So they must of fixed it.

In other games the method I've used to get achievements to appear is to sign out of your profile for Xbox live and then sign back in. That almost always immediately triggers the achievement update. I've had 5 pop right after sign in because they were queued up.

This one didn't unlock for me, I knew something was weird when I finished that mission and I was like hmmm...even retrying it didn't work.

It's been over a week now for me. It seems like a lot of people have one or two achievements that had a delayed unlock but most people I've checked had their achievement pop. I've gotten all the other achievements so I've shelved the game for now. Not sure it will ever unlock.
