How to unlock the Gauntlet achievement in Middle-earth: Shadow of War - Definitive Guide

There are nine collectables you need to collect and return to Torvin. The achievement pops when you talk to him after the last collectable has been found. You can fast travel to his home on the western section of the map, where you start the DLC.

I have a feeling that I have mixed some of the names up, so please comment if you find one. All the images are correct though.

Names should be fine now, thanks to Warboy925 and HolyHalfDead.

1. Improved Hook with Hinged Movable Bits (Catapult). In between the front teeth on the skull. Note: the map image below is a replacement as the original has strangely vanished. This link won't format either. You can click the URL and it will open a new tab, or go to collectable number 2 for the same map. Ignore the player icon and head to the skull in the south, next to the border. You can't miss the skull.

2. Incline Toxic Death Dispenser (Wormrot Oils).

3. Great Huge Spring Smasher (Mighty Shield).

4. Fabulously Complex Chain-Reel Drive (Grapple Pull).

5. Wee Enormously Powerful Power-Increaser (Chain Kills).

6. Horribly Sharp Chain Razors (Cyclone).

7. Retractable Extra Deadly Bits (Fatal Counter)

8. Integrated Inferno-Hurling Launcher (Numenorean Fire).

9. Big Stoatin' Fire Tank (Blazing Shield). Jump down from here and it will be against the wall. I forget to take a picture before collecting it.

Here's a video if you need any additional help:

Many of names of the items don't match the locations.

I did state that in the solution and asked people to correct the names. There is no way to check the names once done. The locations are correct though.

Thanks for the guide, but I wished people would stop embedding pictures from Xbox Live directly. Can't open them in a new tab, have to download them and then they are in a weird ~700x400 pixel resolution. Would be far easier, if people used sites like Imgur to embedd them.

I’ve had images disappear from Imgur in the past as well.

You were right, not all of the names matched the locations.

7 is Fatal Counter (Retractable Extra Deadly Bits) not Númenórean Fire (Integrated Inferno-Hurling Launcher), and 5 is Chain Kills (Wee Enormously Powerful Power-Increaser). It's 8 that is Númenórean Fire (Integrated Inferno-Hurling Launcher). Blazing Shield (Big Stoatin' Fire Tank) is 9.

The list from Warboy925 has the correct order. Thanks for updating the solution.

In the video I will show you how to get all the collectibles for the DLC. I will also be making it super easy to get them fast and in a clockwise rotation so you don't have to back track.

To unlock this achievement you need to collect all nine Numenorean artifacts and return them to Torvin. You are given a hand drawn map with a vague location to try and track these down, however I have screenshot the location of each both where I am on the map and where the collectible is in-game specifically.

1. At the bottom of the map, roughly in the center, just inside the mouth of the dragon skeleton;

2. At the bottom left corner of the map at the top of a set of stairs;

3. On the roof of the Mercenary base;

4. Roughly in the middle of the map underneath a rock formation;

5. At the Bottom right corner of the map in the Outpost;

6. At the top of the map slightly to the left behind the fighting pit;

7. At the top left of the map on the bridge that leads into the Outpost;

8. On the roof of the keep of Shindram fortress;

9. Roughly in the center of the Outpost in the top right of the map;

The achievement will unlock as you give Torvin the final artifact.

There are a total of 9 Númenórean artifacts scattered throughout Lithlad, bringing them to Torvin will unlock upgrades for Baranor. You can check the general locations of the artifacts using the in game treasure maps, most of them are easy to find with the exception of a few trickier ones. You should grab all of them on your first playthrough as they are very helpful when attempting the Gold Rating.

If you cannot find them all yourself then refer to this video from Trophy Germany.
