Midnight’s friends are the round, black, spiky things with white eyes, as seen in the trophy image. Simply bump in to one of them for this trophy.

All you need to do to unlock this achievement is to shoot Midnight towards one of the black balls and hit them. This can be unlocked as early as Level 4 and at the same time as "You made it."
