How to unlock the Monstrous achievement in Midway Arcade Origins - Definitive Guide

Although I don't think character matters I chose the Wolf. Your basic strategy is to climb the buildings by pressing up next to a side and then when close to the top just spam the punch button while holding down. This will cause the buildings to fall as fast as possible while you take little damage. Using this technique I got the achievement very easily.

First two cities aren't too bad. City three took a couple of tries though. First time I reached city three, I destroyed all buildings but got taken out by a chopper at the very last second. To add to the solution, if a building has a lot of enemy, give that one priority, or else you may get too hurt to finish the three city.

Sometimes a turkey health will appear randomly, so be on the lookout for that. Could make the small difference between an achievement or no achievement.
Good luck!

After having a lot of trouble with this achievement I went to YouTube and found a good video. After watching this video I got the Monstrous Achievement on my third attempt. The first solution gives you an overlay on how to play the game, but gives you no real strategy. (No disrespect intended.) Watch the route and pattern taken in this video and hopefully it will help you as much as it helped me. Good luck my fellow hunters! I take no credit for this video...all credit goes to the uploader.

The point of Rampage is simple - climb buildings, destroy buildings, don't die. Sounds pretty cut and dry. The only issue is you character is SLOOOOOW. It is very hard to avoid things, especially the ever annoying dynamite.

I chose George for no reason whatsoever. Start at the first building in Peoria and climb almost to the top. Now the fastest way I've found is to just punch down diagonally as you descend each building, occasionally punching Army guys and windows - windows randomly have health in them. Continue this making sure to take as little damage as possible (if any) on the first level. If a building is gonna fall and you are still on it, jump off. If you fall, you will lose a ton of health. But if you jump, you lose none.

Moving onto Joliet, it's more of the same. Climb buildings. Destroy buildings. Avoid bullets and especially dynamite. If you are climbing up a building that has an overlapping building behind it, punch up also to give you a headstart on it. After getting through Joliet, it's time for sweet home Chicago! I found it necessary to have AT LEAST 50% health when starting Chicago. Do what you do best - destroying buildings - and you should get through Chicago after a few attempts. Once Chicago falls, a trophy pops!

It doesn't matter AS much who you use for this but the Ape may be the easiest, I had more trouble with Lizzie seemingly. General tips will include climbing a buildings side and attacking straight across and then diagonally down, eat people when possible for hp but don't eat the demolitions guys with the TNT. don't worry so much about bullet avoidance but avoid explosives as much as possible. punching signs will hurt you eat turkeys if you see them and avoid electronics in general like toasters. Focus on just smashing holes in every building till they collapse, Holding will allow you to drop without taking damage while buildings collapse.
