How to unlock the Target Practice achievement in Midway Arcade Origins - Definitive Guide

My experience playing Rampart was very limited until today, so this is almost essentially coming from someone who's never played the game before.

When you select your castle, press up once. This will give you the castle closest to the water. Place your cannons as close to the top wall as possible, and then one underneath the ones you placed.

As soon as the targeting reticule appears, aim a bit in front of the leftmost ship first. The best way to hit them is to lead them slightly.

You have to be quick, though. Destroying the three ships completes the level and unlocks the achievement.

yes this is great for players that aren't used to rampart. also good stragity in general.

This is one of the easiest and quickest trophies on here. When the game starts, choose Recruit. Select the second area to build (it's the one closest to the sea). Place your 3 cannons in the tower and as soon as the 3 ships appear, pepper them with cannonballs. Once they are destroyed, your trophy dings. Super easy.

This is about as easy as putting the disc in the drive and booting the game. Start the game, waiting the whole time is the hardest part, select a home base tower close to the shore. Place your three cannons where ever you like. start spamming slightly ahead of the ships as they move and you will unlock this in about 10 seconds after you start the shooting process.
