It's recommended to have the Cryosphere power for this achievement.
Halfway through the fight with Battalion, he will take the form of a revolver and say "Ready... Aim..." Get ready on the opposite side and switch to Cryosphere. Dodge once you hear the word "Fire!" If you dodge it by using

, you'll get a Fine Play bonus for another achievement, but it's not necessary for this.
Once that's done, spam shots at him to freeze him in place. You'll be able to take him down within ten seconds, fast enough to keep him from attacking again. If the shot embedded in the wall explodes, you'll have to redo the fight.
