This one is a lot easier than it sounds.
After you disable the boss (hitting them enough to turn them purple) you have a short window (a few seconds) to dash through them before they start gaining some of their health back.

This is far easier then it sounds. Letting them heal means you get them into the weakened state but do not absorb them. As long as you are absorbing them efficiently they will never heal.
