Both of Bat's Fine Plays are very simple, but they're not exactly stuff you'd do normally.
1. When he fires shots horizontally, crouch-dash under them with
+

2. Get him down to half health and he'll prepare to fire his one-shot missile. Stand back and wait until he yells "fire!", then crouch-dash under the missile.
