How to unlock the Maximum Result achievement in Mighty No. 9 - Definitive Guide

This is glitchy, I just received my first S rank on the City level with 68,500 score but no achievement.

Yea, I've just done it three times in a row and still nada. I see you did end up winning it later on the same day. Hopefully mine will pop as well.

I just got this on City with the following stats:

Base score: 24,925
Clear time: 2:20.71. (+10,000)
Damage: 4 (+8,000)
Kills: 49 (+6,000)
Combos: 16 (+1,000)
Xel Absorpitivty Avg: 97.59% (+15,000)

Total score: 64,925

Edit: It seems you need at least 63,650 as I scored 63,625 before and only got "A" rank.

At the end of each level, the game judges your performance based on how much time it took to clear the level, damage received, enemies killed/absorbed, the length of your Combo (how many enemies you have 100%-absorbed in a row) and the mean of all the Absorption %’s. If you do well enough in all of these parameters, you will get an S rank. This is easily done in the City level on Normal difficulty, as you can speed through it, kill foes fast with Battalion’s weapon and 100%-absorb most enemies you weaken. The trophy will pop at the results screen.

I highly recommend getting this trophy along with Absorptionist , as shown in the below video:
