How to unlock the Mighty Survivor achievement in Mighty No. 9 - Definitive Guide

These are a lot easier to find than the Amazing and Sprinter bonuses, but a few of them can be tricky to obtain nonetheless. Quick and Nice Clears are essentially the same thing; they are awarded at the end of miniboss fights and sections where you must kill all enemies to proceed, if you did it fast enough (or in some cases, got enough kills). Every single one of these sections has either a Nice or a Quick, so make sure you take note if you don't get one when you clear one of those.

Here's a list, but I wasn't taking notes as I went along, so I think I may have forgotten some. If you find one that's not on the list, feel free to leave a comment below and I will add it.

City:
1. "Defeat all enemies" section, Quick Clear.

Oil Platform:
1. "Defeat all enemies" section, Quick Clear.

Water Works Bureau:
1 & 2. Miniboss fight x2, Quick Clear for both. Batallion power works well.

Power Plant:
1 & 2. "Defeat all enemies" section x2, Quick Clear for both.

Military Base:
1. "Defeat all enemies" section, Quick Clear.

Radio Tower:
1. Miniboss fight, Quick Clear. Not sure if it counts the time for the whole airship part or just the boss.

Highway:
1. Very early in the level, you'll be stuck on top of a bus while signs come at you from the right at varying heights. For this Nice Clear, you must destroy all of them. I recommend Batallion shots and dashes for the groups, and regular shots for the singles.
2. "Defeat all enemies" section, Quick Clear.

Capitol Building:
1. "Defeat all enemies" section, Quick Clear.

Prison:
1. "Defeat all enemies" section, Quick Clear. This one really sucks since Call takes ages to kill anything. For the claw arm enemies, just avoid them until the blow up. Get close to the flying enemies to spam shots into them until they die, and kill the giant sawblade guys with as few sawblade dodges as possible.

This bonus can be seen in this video:

Robot Factory:
1 & 2. Miniboss fights against the thing that spawns enemies and the robot from the tutorial level, Quick Clear for both. The former is very weak against Cryo, and spamming Brand against the latter works fine.
3. This is the section where several of the Numbers are helping you fight a lot of enemies in a big room. Most notably Cryo is throwing ice, and there are little bouncy enemies everywhere. This one seems to be time-based, but it's still a Nice Clear.

All bonuses can be seen in this video:

Battle Colosseum:
1. "Defeat all enemies" section, Quick Clear. First room of the level.
2. When you're riding the big elevator down, you have to make sure you've killed all enemies before exiting on the right side. Gotta be quick about it before the elevator falls! Awards a Nice Clear.

I was wondering if you needed to complete the level after you get the Quick/Nice Clear, so I just tested it, and it seems like you do. Great guide, though. :-)

I don't recall that you do, since the achievement progress is added as soon as you get the bonus. Best to be on the safe side though I guess!

Well, I did pop the achievement in the middle of a level, but the reason I thought you might have to finish the level is 'cause I originally had the counter at 47%. I got one I still needed, and the counter went to 50%. Then, I quit the level, and the counter went back to 47%. However, in the course of getting the achievement, I noticed that the snap counter remained at 47%, but when I clicked on the achievement, the counter was at 70%. Maybe just some stupid glitch with the snap counter. I didn't test to see if the main counter stayed where it was if I quit a level.

Glitched for the PS3 version.

These bonuses usually require clearing some fights as fast as possible and they are easy to get if you are using Battalion’s weapon. If you need help with these or other bonuses, refer to Mighty Sprinter .

This trophy glitched on me while playing the PS3 version and I believe the reason it did is because I got the last Quick Clear bonus left in the Prison level, therefore make sure you get the last bonus of this category outside this level. I’m not sure if this applies to the other bonus categories as well but I think it does. If the trophy glitches on you and it doesn’t pop after getting all the bonuses, delete the “trophy data” from your save data folder and attempt it again from scratch.

QUICK CLEAR! And NICE CLEAR! Are generally awarded for the “defeat all enemies” sections of a stage and mini bosses. There really is not a trick to them persay, just kill all the enemies and bosses quickly.

City Stage: Defeat all enemies section – QUICK CLEAR

Oil Platform Stage: Defeat all enemies section – QUICK CLEAR

Water Works Bureau Stage: There are two fights against a pong style mini boss. QUICK CLEAR is awarded for each fight. Use Battalion to kill them quickly.

Power Plant Stage: There are two defeat all enemies sections. QUICK CLEAR for each of them.

Military Base Stage: Defeat all enemies section – QUICK CLEAR

Radio Tower Stage: The helicopter mini boss. QUICK CLEAR is awarded for defeating him. Using Battalion on the triple guns part to kill them all at the same time. Well, I used Battalion on the whole boss, but it really helps on that one specific part.

Highway Stage: Defeat all enemies section – QUICK CLEAR
NICE CLEAR! Is awarded for the section early in the level where you are on a bus and have to deal with a lot of advertisement signs flying at you. Use Battalion to make sure you absorb all of the signs for the bonus.

Capitol Building Stage: Defeat all enemies section – QUICK CLEAR

Prison Stage – Defeat all enemies section – QUICK CLEAR. This one is a little tougher because Call can not absorb and has to destroy all of them. You have to take advantage of her being able to shoot again as soon as her bullet hits an enemy. For the small flying robots let them fly close to you before you shoot them. Then stand next to them and fire away. For the large saw blade robots you can use your hover to give yourself a little bit more time in the air to shoot them. For the turret robots just get close to them and shoot them. For the claw robots you can't do anything, you just have to wait for them to blow up.

Robot Factory Stage: There are two miniboss fights. A QUICK CLEAR is awarded for each of them. For the mini boss that spawns more robots use Cryo. For the robot that is a beefed up version of the city stage boss use Brandish.

NICE CLEAR! Is awarded for the defeat all enemies section where all of the Mighty Numbers are helping you.

Battle Colosseum Stage: Defeat all enemies section – QUICK CLEAR. This is the first section of the stage.

NICE CLEAR! Is awarded for defeating all of the enemies on the elevator. You can leave the elevator without needing to defeat any of the robots so make sure you get them all to earn the bonus.
