How to unlock the SCRATCHER achievement in Mindjack - Definitive Guide

Best done on 6-1: Coming up Blank.

When the level starts, pick up a gun, kill the Furie and the soliders, and advance through the place (no enemies after you kill the first 5 or 6 soliders). Then you will come to a door and monkeys will start attacking you. Shoot one of them until it goes down. Mind hack it. Press down on both your left and right sticks (host can do this too) to exit out of the body of Jim Corbin (or whoever you are inside of). Quickly hack the mindjacked monkey. Get as many kills as possible. Rinse and repeat.

You need to mind hack into the little monkeys and then kill 10 of their mates. There are only a couple of places to do this - I got it on the scetion after you first meet the big gorilla. After you initially damage him, you are put in a room where they drop from the level above. Kill 1 from the first wave, mind slave him, then hack into him. Kill as many other monkeys as you can, and if not enough, just die when you fight the gorilla again, and restart the level. You should be able to get it second time.

A swarmer is a unit that looks like a small monkey with guns on their backs. This is an easy one because on the scenes the swarmers are found on, there is a swarm of them that show up that you can shoot. Hence the name Swarmer. Again you could let a friend help you but it’s not necessary.

The best levels for swarmer kills are: 06-1 and 07-2. There are others but these are the best ones.

Swarmer is a small jumping monkey with machine guns on his back. Appears in scene 06-1 - the trophy is taken there, after the yellow mind slave marker appears above the swarmer, hack it and kill the enemies. If you don’t get the trophy right away, a little further the swarmers will appear again.
