How to unlock the Birthday Song achievement in Minecraft - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement first you must find an Allay (blue wisp-like creatures). They spawn in the wooden cages around pillager outposts and inside of the jail's contained within the woodland mansions.

Keep the Allay in the cage and place a noteblock, after this you can give the Allay a cake using LT.

Once the Allay has a cake (they can hold up to a stack) use the noteblock and it will drop it for you.

As mentioned by others, one cake wasn't enough. I crafted an extra 5 cakes, along with the one I had already given to the Allay, and it did what it was supposed to do. So make sure to bake extra cakes.

Completing the achievement
- Place note block on the ground
- Interact with an Allay and hand them a cake
- Tap the Note block this tells any nearby allay to drop items on the note block instead of to you for the next 30 seconds
- Toss a cake on the ground
- Allay will pick up the cake and toss it on top of the Note Block
- Achievement will pop (as usual Xbox Minecraft achievements are very delayed so be patient)

Items Required
Note Block: 8 wood planks, 1 redstone dust
Cakes (2x): 3 Milk, 1 Egg, 2 Sugar, and 3 Wheat per cake

Allay Locations
Woodland Mansion - Contained in the previous to this update empty jail cell room
- I went with the Mansion since you can obtain a map to lead you there unlike randomly searching for a pillager outpost
- Since the new update they have fixed the cartographer to hand out maps to new woodland mansions in worlds/realms where you have already found and cleared a previous one. Each mansion is at least 10,000 meters away from spawn (0,0) the one I went to in this video was 16,635 meters away. A very long flight even at supersonic speeds on a rainy day
Pillager Outpost - Contained in the Cages at the Outpost (random spawn)

Once you have an allay you may clone it by placing a music disk in a jukebox and then feeding it an amethyst shard.

This one confused me for a while (okay... still confuses me)
Spawn an Allay (blue bird thing). This is how I think it works and what I did to finally get it to work. I gave the Allay a cake. Then I dropped a cake (a bunch actually) then played the note block. The Allay freaked out picked the cake(s) and started throwing them all around the note block. So it seems you need to give the Allay a cake AND drop a cake, then hit the note block.

There are a lot of options for achievements worlds. You can join a realm, download an achievement world, or join an achievement server.

I used both of the following worlds, one realm and one downloaded:

tbk's realm is amazing... only problem i had is with the birthday song achievement. i would disconnect from the realm while attempting birthday song. turns out if more than 1 allays were close by, my game would get all wonky. eventually got it, worked fine with just 1 allay.

It could just be full. Sometimes I think it says that when its full.
Both the creators are here on TA.
The button king I don't think uses TA much. He asks you contact him on twitter or discord. You can ask him, details here:

I also heard of another way, to download the map on your phone or PC running minecraft, and you can join the game on your console. I haven't tried this method, I just found out about it a couple days ago. But you can research that and see if it works.
