You find llamas in savannahs and extreme hills biomes, you need a lead to "hook" one of them and have 4 other llamas following the hooked llamas.
Seems to be glitched at the moment like it is on the Pocket Editions, they said it is planned to be fixed, along with the Pocket Editions, when the Better Together goes public this fall.
EDIT: Thanks to lightsup55 for the tip, it appears to unlock if you get the achievement in a synced world from the Xbox One. He also used 1 lead per llama so try that if 1 llama with a lead doesn't work. I did it with only one lead. After just wait and it should unlock.
EDIT: Also make sure the lead isn't in your hand when you save, cause when you sync the lead may disappear. If that happens reload the game and you can resync your Xbox One version saves.

We fixed it, no special world needed. Just do the thing :).

I don't know, but this isn't working for me still.
By Ex GHOSTface on 15 Sep 2017 04:43
5 tracked gamers have unlocked this so far (myself included), might just be a little buggy at this point. I used 5 Leads (1 for each llama) in an old tutorial world I synced from
Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, but I still waited about 30 minutes before the achievement popped.
Version: beta 1.2.0.25 Gui:4
It is the same version I had when I started playing the Better Together Beta.

Worked for me as well. Popped within a minute in a synced original x1 world.

Interesting to note, Gui changed from Gui:3 to Gui:4 . I remember making a mental note of that.

So is it only in synced worlds from xbox One?
By Spilner on 08 Sep 2017 21:20
Havent tried joining over LAN, might work.
By Itzz Sh0wt1m3 on 08 Sep 2017 21:34
Ill try it shortly
Edit: Well the pocket editons are on different versions now so you cant connect 'Client out of date' and for some reason the lead in my hand in the One world is gone when i sync.
Guess ill try saving it not in my hand.
Edit2: Weird the lead in my hand on the One version is also not there, guess ill go get the original 360 import instead
By Spilner on 08 Sep 2017 21:52
Ok popped instantly with a synced world with only one lead
By Spilner on 08 Sep 2017 22:13
My synced world loaded me with out a lead and 5 llama's and in 3rd person view ffs
By Calex dEUS on 08 Sep 2017 22:32
Which is what mine did, need to have it save with the lead not leashed.

I don't have any worlds on my XB1 edition except tutorial. How would I try to get this?
By Evc on 09 Sep 2017 06:32
This doesn't require an XB1 world. I just got it on Itzz Sh0wt1m3's Win 10 world.

That's what I ended up doing. First I copied the World and made that Creative then spawned myself in at the spawn point far away from everything then got a batch of Maps and flew over to where everything is while screenshoting where I'm going and when I went back into Survival in the original save I luckily found my way over then and got the achievements, it wasn't that bad you just have to pay attention while in the Ocean as you can get lost really easily there

I got this joining a windows 10 host. You spawn miles from where you need to be but you can get to the area without a map. The sun rises in the East and sets in the West. Use the sun to navigate you to where the host is. You want to travel South-West. took me about 10-15 minutes to reach game host. You cross what looks like endless oceans but you'll get there.

This doesn't tell you at all how to unlock the achievement

@
MoustachioThat is very well written. You should post that as your own solution, instead of a comment.

I got this without ever actually leading five llamas at once. I created a fenced corral and lead five llamas there one at a time in preparation for it, and the achievement popped as soon as i got the fifth llama into the corral. I never actually had to leash all five at once.
By risseless on 30 May 2018 15:26
Ohhhhh... lead as in leash. Not the heavy metal.

I spawn at a random point super far away from everything on the Win 10 world for these Update achievements, what should I do?
By xTCx on 22 Sep 2017 04:07
Yeah, I've had that happen when I joined someone else's Windows 10 world while I was on Xbox One. I didn't even have a map to see where he was.
Also, map coordinates don't work unless "Activate Cheats" is turned on for the world (which disables achievements).
If you're hosting the world on Windows 10, the only thing I can tell you is to have both screens (computer and TV) side-by-side so you can see the map on Windows 10 while moving around on Xbox One.
By lightsup55 on 22 Sep 2017 04:14
Drachen77, is your world synced from the old version (
Minecraft: Xbox One Edition)? There are known issues with achievements not unlocking in synced worlds.
The Activate Cheats option might have been on when loading an old world from the older version for the first time.
These are the things that will disable achievements:- Setting the Default Game Mode to Creative.
- Turning on the Activate Cheats option.
- Setting the World Type to Flat (new worlds only).
What you might need to do if the Activate Cheats option is on and you find problems unlocking achievements, delete the world and sync it again. Click on the little pencil icon next to the world name and you'll be able to edit some settings.
Make sure that the Activate Cheats option is OFF! The Default Game Mode should be Survival. Now you can click Play.

I used the tutorial world.
There's a lead in a chest near the horse stable in the main area. You'll also need fencing (I had 40 and a few gates which was plenty) and a gate or two which can be broken down in the horse stable and adjacent animal area. This is all I ended up needing. (You also may want to gather the hay bales in the animal pens and the extra wheat from chests and in the adjacent gardening area. And if you want to be safe you can make some extra leads. The slime balls are in a corner area chest in the slime section (back left corner when facing the starting area, near the redstone area. String can be gotten from inside those giant emerald/gold circles on the sides of towers. Jump-climb with dirt blocks, hop onto the bottom of the circles and knock the strings off from above you. They trigger more fireworks, so it's no big deal.)
Once you've gotten everything you need, head back to the start area and continue straight south. After a short distance, you'll find a savannah area (the bending trees). There's a big sword statue and a village on one onside and a desert castle on the other. Then just walk around the savannah and look for llamas. You may want to take/make a sword and kill all other animals to help more llamas spawn. Once you find a llama, use the lead and take it to a flat place you like and build a fence around it with a gate, unleash it and lock the gate behind you. Then repeat four more times. I found most of the llamas up on the steep hills. (You can use the hay bales to breed babies, but I ran out my hay bales without having a successful baby. There's also a village in eye shot of the savannah area so you can gather more wheat to make more babies if you beat the villagers to it. But again, I got five llamas without breeding.)
