How to unlock the Blast Radius achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide

Note: Minecraft Dungeon is a procedurally generated game... this meaning that the entire game is "random" nothing should be in the same place twice (or it shouldn't be). Luckily this has only a very minor role to play in this achievement... but it's still something to note incase you just have bad luck.Large groups of enemies are common to find on all difficulties, and on all tiers on each level.

Recommended:
Level: Creeper Woods, Soggy Swamp, Pumpkin Pastures, Redstone Mines (A LOT of people have recommended this level thanks to the multiple spawners located here) , Cacti Canyon (This is the level I got mine).
Recommended Tiers are: I, II, III,IV, V, VI
Tip: (Thanks Dibbs93) You can stack multiple TNTs and when you throw them, they all count as one explosion

Note: The achievement will track ONLY WHAT YOU HAVE KILLED, this isn't a cumulative achievement, meaning that this has to be done in 1 throw of TNT block(s). If you mess up and kill let's say 90% it doesn't matter. You have to kill the full amount in 1 throw or that 90% may as well be 0%....

This achievement requires you to pick up the dropped "TNT Block" (Which you get by killing enemies) and throwing it into a large group of enemies (Once you pick it up click RT to throw it).

I recommend doing this on tier "I" as enemies are weak and will die a lot easier.

TIP: If you can't find a large horde enemies, just run past a few (make sure they follow you) and group them up together.
Then throw your TNT and run into the middle of it. BOOM! It will damage you (or kill you) and kill all the other mobs around you! It's that simple!

Hope this helps!

Got mine in Redstone mine, in the area where you have to save the villagers, plenty of enemies in that area and enough walls to throw your TNT since you normally thow it to the other end of the universe.

Just to add because I wasn't sure it would work but you can stack multiple TNTs and when you throw them all it counts as one explosion

There is a large group guaranteed in Pumpkin Pastures when lowering the bridge.

It doesn't have to be 10 at once. It is a cumulative process.

@danfreitas90

I don't believe that's true. The tracker only shows how many you have gotten in one explosion. So, for example, if you get 3 in one explosion, it'll say 30%. If you throw another TNT and get 2 in the explosion it'll still say 30% but if you get 4 in an explosion it'll bump up the percentage to 40%. I know for a fact I've blown up more than 10 total across multiple explosions so it has to be all at once 10+ one time to count.

Thumbs up to those who mentioned Pumpkin Pastures. There is a TNT that always spawns in a chest right at the bottom of the stairs when you approach the castle. Id recommend holding off on grabbing it until you clear out the wave of enemies that must be cleared to open first gate. Go back to grab TNT and use it near mission to lower drawbridge. Tons of enemies will spawn on both sides near switches. Just gather them all up and drop tnt.....VERY EASY METHOD HERE

Desert temple is another one, you might have to reload a couple of times but near the start is a TNT and not far passed that a summoner who summons loads of zombies , easy to get the TNT in the right spot too as it's not an open area.

Every level is at random, so when most of you say "here you find a TNT" is not true, at all.

I got this at redstone mines. For me there was a area there with 3 zombie spawners in the same area, I just let them spawn a lot of zombies. Just an area before, it dropped 4 TNT for me. I had a lot of TNT spawn here during the whole map as well.

Worked best on Redsto e Mines for me due to the large number of enemies that spawn towards the end of the level.

Creeper Woods worked well for me, lots of zombies spawn towards the start of the level.

Soggy Swamp worked for me. I found three slimes that I was able to chop into smaller slimes. Not sure if each mini slime counted as an individual mob, but it did pop after I threw the TNT into the area where they all were (can't confirm as there were a few skeletons in the mix too).

For this solution you need to eliminate 10 enemies with an explosion of TNT which can be carried on your head by pressing cn_A and thrown using cn_RT.

I was having difficulty throwing the TNT as it always seemed to only catch 6-8 enemies.

An easy way around this I found was to get 10 enemies around you (Zombies are best as they get very close) with the TNT above your head and let them defeat you. As you die, your TNT will fall and eliminate all the enemies.

This can be accomplished here -

This was awesome! Worked perfectly. I went to the area he described and just before all the zombies, a tnt will drop. Just carry it in just beyond where there is a ton of them and they surround you, kill you and it drops and kills them. I went in on difficulty II so the enemies would die easier.

Fantastic solution. Worked like a charm on the first attempt! Much easier than messing around trying to perfect throw the TNT into a mob of 10+ enemies!

Can be done easily on the Creeper Woods level. Inside the crypt. Grab a TNT somewhere. Save it until you see many zombies. Run in the crowd of them and you can die. As you die, the TNT will go off killing them.

TNT is only dropped by defeated mobs and based on RNG. When it is dropped, you can pick it up by standing over it and pressing . You can carry it for as long as you want, but you can’t use your arrows while carrying it as the button to throw it is the same as the button to shoot arrows . You always throw it in a straight line to where you are looking and it does go a pretty good distance.

It is important to note that “ANY 10 mobs”, includes passive mobs. With that said though, the easiest place to get this is by playing through Creeper Crypt. There are a lot of mobs here, even on lower difficulties, meaning a higher chance of TNT spawning and a higher chance of finding a large crowd to throw it into. Be careful as you can hurt yourself and any allies, pets, or coop friends caught in the blast radius of the TNT.

At the Creepy Crypt location, take dynamite (preferably 2-3), find a cluster of enemies and throw the dynamite. The crypt is opened by taking a map from a cave in the Creeper Forest location.

It’s even simpler, you don’t even have to think, sooner or later the trophy will fall on its own, because on the “Apocalypse” difficulty there are much more than 10 enemies.

The easiest way to do this is at the “Red Stone Mines” level, since there are mob spawners there and TNT drops very often, just take one TNT, go to the mob spawner (looks like a metal cage), wait a couple of seconds until a group of mobs appears, then throw TNT

When climbing the tower, a lot of dynamite falls. You can try there. Dynamite is transferred between floors of the tower. The main thing is not to go into the camp, otherwise it will disappear from your inventory.
