How to unlock the Expert Explorer achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide

By far the easiest way to do this to cut out the time of actually running through levels at higher difficulties is to do runs on Redstone Mines at difficulties higher than yours.

The enemies that spawn on this map are far more numerous than any other and there is Monster Spawner cages you can just camp at to force mobs to spawn
.
Usually you can go up 2 levels or so per run of this map.
Having a Soul Healer as an artifact will help you survive a little longer also but isnt needed.

The soul healer combined with something like wither armor is a good combo I've found. 35% damage reduction and 100% souls gathered, 3% life steal. The bar fills very quickly with it.

To be honest if you're going to go for 100% and beat the last boss on hardest difficulty, there's no need to grind this one, it'll come naturally.

You can also do the secret level, I went from 77 to 81 playing through the level once which took about 20 minutes. You need to play each level a couple of times to unlock the secret level but it might help if there's any achievements added later for reaching higher levels, and it's a more fun level to do repeatedly!

What’s the secret level called and when do you know when you can play it?

Thanks for that LordSmorc, thought there would be some grinding but seems like 3 play through a will do the trick. Thanks again.

It is actually possible to find a spot near a monster cage where monsters can’t hurt you and just keep pressing The A button. Just make sure you don’t wear armour that gives you a pet bat since it may destroy the cage over time. With a rubber band on the A button I just went from lvl 38 to 51 overnight. I used a dual wield weapon with poison clouds.

I found it a bit difficult to rubberband the A button, so I changed the melee attack button to RT and had a much easier time. For some spawners, the zombies would often get stuck. I suggest just finding a new spawner in this case.

I have been attacking enemies for a long time and only gained like 2 levels. God damn this game is so boring and tedious.

I just tried doing this by rubberbanding my trigger and letting it attack while i was away. Controller turns it self off after 5-10 minutes even when plugged in, then you die lol.

The secret level is called Moo? and you need to collect a rune on each of the 9 levels (not including creepy crypt). The runes don't appear until you've beaten the game at least once, so you're unlocking the secret level during your adventure playthrough. At this point there's a few written/video guides for it, here's a good one:

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/minecraft-dungeons-runes-...

As AMoxey97 said you don't really need to go out of your way to grind this as you're guaranteed to hit 50 during your 3 playthroughs of the game, I was well over level 70 by the time I had all the achievements. The secret level is just an option for endgame grinding incase more content is added.

You can easily grind for this in the secret level titled “Moo.”
Difficulty: Default Tier: VI(6)

Once you beat the game, lower the draw bridge, and enter the church, you will be tasked with finding the 9 runes, each scattered variously throughout every level. The link to help you out with the runes is posted in the spoiler at the bottom of this guide

Once you have done that, Head back to the church and the level will unlock.

All you have left to do is hack and slash at all the mooshroom. I went from level 40-42 by the end of the level. It is a good idea to have a melee weapon with a high DPS, like a claymore or hammer, and heavy armor with damage reduction and a chance to negate hits... They drop strength potions fairly often. My setup was heartstealer claymore with stalwart armor. I used a level 40 harvester artifact to insta kill crowds of mooshroom by herding them all together.

I suggest saving all arrows for the boss battle if you want to fight it. I have a fairly easy way of trapping the boss by running around one of the corners and dropping below him by one block to stay underneath his attack while he’s stuck from moving. I attached an image for that.

Good luck!

P.s. please note that I’m not trying to hijack the other solution or copy the comments. But you can’t view the comments made for that solution on the Xbox TA app.

Level 50 comes naturally with progression unless of course you like a nice slab of cheese (who doesn't like cheese?)

If you head over to Redstone Mines and get to a spawner, keep your x button pressed down near to it but not touching it (I used a combination of sellotape and one of the wifes ornaments) and the mobs will keep re-spawning and heading over to your weapon of choice. Make a nice cup of tea and switch over to Netflix for an hour or so and DING levels are going up. Cheesy Peesy

Assuming you don’t replay levels a bunch, you should hit level 50 during your Apocalypse difficulty playthrough. Leveling up is pretty straight forward, there are 4 ways to level up: Killing Enemies (higher difficulty = more XP earned), Surviving Ambushes (Ambushes are triggered periodically in levels, clearing out all the enemies gives you XP per enemy killed, plus a bit of extra XP for finishing the ambush), Story Progression (Completing levels, even replaying them, nets extra XP depending on level difficulty), Defeating Bosses (Defeating a boss nets a large chunk of XP and usually some pretty good gear drops).

You can farm XP (And emeralds/gear/kills) on the Redstone Mines level. This level is full of Spawner blocks, which spawn in enemies. Simply, kill these enemies over and over again without destroying the Spawner block.

To avoid any danger of dying, you can summon allies with Artifacts (refer to A Friend in Need (30G) for more information about Artifacts and allies) or equip armor that includes pets that fight for you, like the Spelunker Armor. If you use this method, make sure you position yourself so that the Spawner block is off screen. This will stop your pets/allies from destroying the Spawner block and make sure they only focus on killing the enemies that spawn in. You can also use this method to generate a seemingly endless supply of emeralds that the mobs drop and by selling the gear that the mobs drop.

If you haven’t reached level 50 before you complete the game, I recommend starting the “Red Stone Mines” level, running to the places on the map where zombie spawners begin to appear (preferably places where there will be 2 or more of them), then try to position your character in this way , so that zombies spawn endlessly and at the same time, so that they do not cause damage to you. Then hold down the strike button on the gamepad and go to sleep.
PS I recommend rechecking the game after 20 minutes of such farming, because there is a possibility that the zombies will get stuck in each other and stop approaching you, and new zombies will stop spawning. If this happens, try changing the character's position so that the zombies always spawn in a place where they have no obstacles to get to you.

We go to the red stone mines; We find a position between the spawners so that all the zombies come under attack. Next we press and after holding for 2-3 seconds, without releasing the button, press the PlayStation button. Thus, a quick access menu opens for us, and the game thinks that clamped
