How to unlock the Golden Gauntlet achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide
NOTE: This may have been nerfed in a recent patch, at least on XB1.
To focus on a speedy and cheap way for ranking up to 45 (which is honestly the hard part of this achievement):
How to revert to an earlier cloud save
I'm putting this first, while everyone is still paying attention. When you want to do this, don't quit the game. Instead open the guide, go down to minecraft dungeons on the list, hit start, and pick "Manage game and add-ons". From there go down to save data. I recommend not selecting a profile and instead clicking "Delete All". This selection doesn't even have an option to delete the cloud data (Delete Everywhere, something you DO NOT WANT TO DO). If you select a specific profile, you need to be absolutely sure you pick "Delete from Console" and NOT "Delete Everywhere". (You may want to even upload your character to the minecraft dungeons server just in case you screw up, so you will have a way of recovering it. This is separate from regular cloud storage and shouldn't be affected if you accidentally "Delete Everywhere")
How to abuse said cloud saves
1) Clear the tower including the final boss but do not exit through the last door. If you have trouble doing this, you should exit back to town every few levels (especially before bosses) and quit out of the game (this is important to make sure your cloud save actually updated). If you die, revert your cloud save as described above and you will be back in town at the same level you last exited the tower.
2) After defeating the boss, exit using the runestone, NOT THE DOOR. Quit the game so your cloud save updates.
3) Relaunch the game, go back into the tower and exit (through the door this time). Instead of claiming your reward, revert your cloud save.
4) Repeat step 3 as much as you want. Each run should take about 2.5 minutes of mostly loading time. You will start at the end of the tower each time, but your battle pass rank will continue to accrue as that is stored on the Minecraft Dungeons servers and is not affected by reverting your save.

AFAIK the rank increase is logged when you exit the Tower door, so you can safely delete your local save at the reward screen as well. The few times I deleted it while it was loading, I felt more rushed and I feel like I would make a mistake during a long grind.

Boy I wish I knew about uploading the character... I got careless and was moving too quickly and hit the dreaded delete everywhere... big oof. But hey! ... the battlepass is done. Lol

Since the other guides focus on a more "illegitimate" way of leveling, here is what i found out trying to do this legitimately.
First off, the golden parrot is in the first season pass at level 45, so you need to level up the first season pass.
Some general information how the xp system works:
Everything you do will give you xp, how much will vary a lot, sadly the game doesn't tell you how much xp you gain exactly.
Every Boss you kill (basically everything with a big red health bar, Enderman for example) gives you a really small amount of xp, like 3-5% of a level.
The difficulty doesn't matter that much (apart from the tower), i would still recommend playing on Apocalypse if you can.
You need a little bit more xp each level, i would say around 5-10% more.
The premium season pass will not give you more xp.
It also seems that the more mobs you kill in a level, the more xp you gain at the end (but im not 100% sure about that).
Here are (in my opinion) the three fastest way to get xp:
1. Weekly challenges (approximately 60-80% xp of a level, depending on your season level):
The most reliable source of xp are the weekly challenges. These can be really grindy or really easy.
The secret cow level is probably your best friend in completing most of the "kill x amount of mobs with x" challenges. The difficulty also doesn't matter, so this is quite easy to do.
2. Tower Run (approximately 60-70% xp of a level, depending on your season level):
The Tower Run will net you a lot of xp, but you need to play it on Apocalypse difficulty. Its not that difficult if you know what you are doing, but it will take some time to complete it. Its also VERY repetitive, since its always exactly the same.
You can use the glitch mentioned in Jack Suv's guide to complete the tower really quick, but this could get patched at any time.
3. Playing the secret cow level over and over... (approximately 10-20% xp of a level, depending on your season level):
I know it sounds dumb, but you gain a good chunk of xp for completing a level. Also, there is a boss at the end and you can run through the level really quickly. This is especially good for the first couple of levels.
Overall, this will take a LONG time to complete, i would say around 30h at least.
If you have anything to add to this, let me know in the comments!
Hope this helps!

you're welcome! Yes i was thinking the same thing, not sure why people downvote my solution. off cause you can cheat this, but there should always be a legitimate way to earn this.

I've already got the achievement but wanted to say thanks anyways. I really hate the trend of using exploits instead of actually playing the game. I've played MCD since the beginning and go back to it every once in a while, there's no need to do these illegitimately, just play the game.

WORKING ON PC and XBOX (UPDATE 1.17.0.0 All credits to DsCK on YouTube
There is an exploit in the tower that enables you to farm AP without having to complete it every time. Unlike other methods this one does not involve fiddling with save data and finicky timings on when to close/crash the game. Only requirement is beating one tower run. So on to the guide itself:
Difficulty: Normal (if you're skilled do it on Adventure difficulty (do not choose Apocalypse)
(ONLY REQUIRED ON CONSOLE) Before running the tower remap the map button to any other bind (LT for example)
Once you killing the final boss return to the camp using the TOTEM OF CHECKPOINT and not the final door. After returning to the camp go back into the tower and now go through the final door. Going through the final door is where you receive the AP and we want to repeat this process until we reach level 45 After being prompted by the Tower Keeper to choose your reward do NOT choose anything but instead close/crash your game using ALT+F4 on PC or restart the game on xbox. Now launch the game again and you should be in the Tower Keeper's reward menu once more but now you should be able to open the map (M on PC and LT (rebinded) on console). From the map go to the tower again and you should be able to go through the final door again, receiving AP each time you do. The Tower Keeper's reward menu will pop up again and, like previously, crash the game. From this point it's just a repeat of quitting, opening the map, rejoining the tower and so on.
So the reason why you do not want to play this on Apocalypse (apart from the difficulty) is that the level of the rewards indefinitely keeps getting higher and higher and if you accidentally claim the reward that is too high (someone said above level 410) you risk corrupting your entire save file/character. On normal and adventure difficulty levels are capped and can't go beyond a certain threshold no matter how many times you loop this process.
If my explanation was in any way unclear i will link the original video here. The only difference is that DcSK is abusing the exploit to get higher level gear while we do it to level up seasonal points (AP).
I hope this guide is helpful and easy to replicate!

Why do you need to remap the map key?
By angelsk on 17 Jan 2023 23:25
Only on console; Because it won't open the map unless you remap it

The Gauntlet of Gales is a new level added to the main game’s map. It is accessible at any difficulty immediately with this DLC; however, the golden parrot is not. You will need to rank up to season adventure rank 45 (see Trendsetter (10G) to learn about the Seasonal Adventure) to unlock the golden parrot pet as a free reward. Don’t forgot to equip the golden parrot pet prior to starting your Apocalypse difficulty run of the Gauntlet of Gales.

The Golden Parrot can be obtained at Seasonal Adventure Rank 45

At level 45 of the FIRST season pass. First you need to open the tab for this season and experience will be awarded for the first season.

Important point! The level of any battle pass increases only for killing bosses (story or optional - there is no difference) and opening chests in the location.
