How to unlock the Om Nom Nom achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide

The achievement goes up for every 20 foods collected, or 10%. You can achieve this naturally by playing solo, to make it easier and have more food. In the "Pumpkins Pasture" scenario you will find this area of the video. Do not operate the levers and you can stay as long as you like killing mobs and making food.

In this same place you can obtain the "Blast Radius" achievement of killing 10 Mobs with a single TNT, if you haven't already.

**As part of the solution if you and your friends have some armor that have the "food reserve" enchantment and evolve to level 3, you can increase this every time you consume the healing potion. 3 food after every 45 secs.**
Thanks - Logicslayer for remembering that detail.

***As mentioned by Panda M4X

“This achievement is buggy.
It only counts 20 at a time - no more, no less. So you have to eat 20 or more food items in a mission and complete the mission for it to count 20.

In update 1.2.0.0 - June 17, 2020, they patched it so the food from the tables in Highblock Halls counts towards the achievement, but it doesn't appear that they've fixed how it counts.

If anyone else has trouble with this achievement, play through Pumpkin Pastures a few times, you should get 20+ easily in that mission, so theoretically it should take less than 10 run-throughs of that mission.“

Please give me feedback if you liked it, and for me to improve my solutions in the future.
Sorry for my bad english, LoL

The Food Reserves enchantment would be the better way to go. While farming here worked, it was not very effective. The drop rate for food was too low.

we are finding that the achievement is not tracking correctly for us. We are nearing the end of our second run through of levels and have definitely eaten more than 200 pieces in the game and it still shows us as at 80% or less for the partner. Is there a known glitch/workaround?

You can enchant your Shields with an enchantment that is called "Food Reserves." If you get this achievement to level 3, you can earn 3 foods at one time when you heal yourself with ability.

Perhaps an easier way of farming a few achievements, I played Pumpkin Pastures up to the point where you have to pull two levers to get the draw bridge. Don't pull the levers and the mobs spawn constantly, just move up and down mopping up the XP, food and gear drops. To speed up the process for guaranteed drops, wear armour that has the enchantment that drops food when you use an artefact/or heal potion. And yes, you have to get at least 20 food in one level for this to progress 10%. I got the Om nom and level 25 in no time.

Load up Creeper Woods and just slaughter every cow, sheep, and anything else that breathes. Getting all that delicious food you need. Which is 200 food items by the way. There is also an enchantment you can get on your armour that can spawn up to 3 food per use of your armour. It just occurred to me, a friend(s) with that same armour would speed things up a lot too! It takes 6 enchantment points to max out the skill. I wish you the best! -KC

As of June 27 2020 this trophy is extremely glitched. So a way you can get this to work. I had my friend try. And it worked on his second try.
Copy your save data to a usb or to the cloud. Then delete your save on your system. And delete your game and reinstall it. With a new character, playthrough the first couple of levels or until you get armour with the food items spawn every time you heal. And just keep doing that at your camp until your trophy/achievement pops. Or keep playing through Creeper Woods until your trophy/achievement pops. Until they patch it, this is the method that can potentially work.

Here is my video guide as a reference.

Definitely bugged through regular play through it seems; however, I just got this after trying a load of different things and suggestions from everywhere!

Go to camp, equip a piece of armour that has the maxed out enchantment that gives 3 food items when using a potion. Use a potion outside the home you can enter to drop the 3 food. Now, to save waiting the 30-40 seconds or however long it is until you can use the potion again, roll forwards and enter the home door at the same time. This will kill you and respawn you after 3 seconds with your potion again. Go outside, pop the potion to drop the food again, then dive back at the door and enter at the same time to insta-kill yourself. Rinse and repeat 67x You can use R1 or one of the ability buttons (if you have a feather) to dive/roll at the door. There seems to be a couple seconds invulnerable cooldown after respawn, so be mindful it might not work on first rolling attempt until you get the timing down.

Only takes 10-20 minutes depending on your attentiveness and is guaranteed to work.

I spammed all my potions outside and ate all the food in one go of spamming X haha.

TL;DR: Go to camp, equip 3x food when using pot armour, use pot outside home, roll at door and enter simultaneously, go outside when respawned, use potion, roll at door again, repeat till 200 :)

Note: This achievement does seem to have a tracking problem, with achievement tracking getting stuck and the achievement not popping for some. The tracking problem does have a chance to resolve itself over time, meaning you may need to eat more than the 200 required food items.

Food items spawn in as random drops from defeating enemies and passive mobs. They can also drop from chests and the “inventory” chest, found around the midpoint or before boss fights of levels, always drops arrows and bread. You don’t need to gain health from eating the food item, meaning that eating a food item while at full health still counts. Using for your healing potion does not count as a food item.

You can grind this out by equipping an armor set with the Food Reserve enchantment. This makes it so that when you use a health potion, food items are automatically generated. A tier 1 enchantment spawns 1, tier 2 spawns 2, and tier 3 spawns 3 food items. So with this equipped, you can actually sit in camp and just keep using your health potion and eating the food that spawns.

You put on armor with enchantments for food 3, go to the location (in my case it was the first “Creeper Forest”) and use the potion, collect food, and so on 67 times, for a total of 201. You will spend about one hour on this!

In fact, this does not make much sense, if you are going to get all the achievements, then you will go through the game three times, food drops regularly even without items, you will easily get the achievement for completing it.

While running around the weekly tower, a lot of food drops from Mobs. It's better to farm there by downloading the season pass.

The trophy is not bugged. Most likely there is an error in the description of the trophy! You need to eat 200 units of food in one mission.
I couldn’t get this trophy in 50 hours of play, but as soon as I purposefully stood in place and started farming food through spamming potions with enchantments on my armor (food reserves), I completed the achievement in 40 minutes.

At the penultimate location "Halls of High Block" I knocked out a trophy at Ranwind's prompt in 40 minutes (30m for running and 10 for farming potions). The fact is that in this location you need to destroy the tables in the buffet, and each table drops 1 unit of food. Thus, having reached the throne room and spending another 10 minutes mindlessly poking potions, I received this rare trophy.

PS - put on the breastplate at the beginning of the location, and not in the throne room!
