How to unlock the Om Nom Nom achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide
In this same place you can obtain the "Blast Radius" achievement of killing 10 Mobs with a single TNT, if you haven't already.
**As part of the solution if you and your friends have some armor that have the "food reserve" enchantment and evolve to level 3, you can increase this every time you consume the healing potion. 3 food after every 45 secs.**
Thanks - Logicslayer for remembering that detail.
***As mentioned by Panda M4X
“This achievement is buggy.
It only counts 20 at a time - no more, no less. So you have to eat 20 or more food items in a mission and complete the mission for it to count 20.
In update 1.2.0.0 - June 17, 2020, they patched it so the food from the tables in Highblock Halls counts towards the achievement, but it doesn't appear that they've fixed how it counts.
If anyone else has trouble with this achievement, play through Pumpkin Pastures a few times, you should get 20+ easily in that mission, so theoretically it should take less than 10 run-throughs of that mission.“
Please give me feedback if you liked it, and for me to improve my solutions in the future.
Sorry for my bad english, LoL
As of June 27 2020 this trophy is extremely glitched. So a way you can get this to work. I had my friend try. And it worked on his second try.
Copy your save data to a usb or to the cloud. Then delete your save on your system. And delete your game and reinstall it. With a new character, playthrough the first couple of levels or until you get armour with the food items spawn every time you heal. And just keep doing that at your camp until your trophy/achievement pops. Or keep playing through Creeper Woods until your trophy/achievement pops. Until they patch it, this is the method that can potentially work.
Here is my video guide as a reference.
Food items spawn in as random drops from defeating enemies and passive mobs. They can also drop from chests and the “inventory” chest, found around the midpoint or before boss fights of levels, always drops arrows and bread. You don’t need to gain health from eating the food item, meaning that eating a food item while at full health still counts. Using for your healing potion does not count as a food item.
You can grind this out by equipping an armor set with the Food Reserve enchantment. This makes it so that when you use a health potion, food items are automatically generated. A tier 1 enchantment spawns 1, tier 2 spawns 2, and tier 3 spawns 3 food items. So with this equipped, you can actually sit in camp and just keep using your health potion and eating the food that spawns.
POSSIBLY GLITCHED: This trophy does seem to have a tracking problem, with trophy tracking getting stuck and the trophy not popping for some. The tracking problem does have a chance to resolve itself over time, meaning you may need to eat more than the 200 required food items.
