How to unlock the Passive Aggressive achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide

In the first area "Creeper Woods" you should be able to find passive mobs. Passive mobs in Minecraft (and Minecraft dungeons) are mobs that will not attack you (i.e sheep, pigs, cows) Attack these using cn_A or by using arrows (cn_RT). You will need to kill 50 of these animals for the achievement to unlock.

These mobs will most of the time drop food and this can help you toward the "Om Nom Nom" achievement:

Minecraft DungeonsOm Nom NomThe Om Nom Nom achievement in Minecraft Dungeons worth 17 pointsEat 200 food items.

Note: You can find these passive mobs pretty much everywhere in each level, apart from some areas that don't have animals. The easiest way to get this is to just do creeper woods over and over again.

Creeper Woods is definitely the best area with the largest number of passive mobs spawning.

Agreed. I haven't finished the game yet but that's the level I found with the most mobs. I played the game normally just killing animals for food as I went along and got the achievement pretty slowly.

I've been playing creeper woods, killing all the cows and sheep I can find, but my progress bar isn't moving. Has anyone heard of this achievement being bugged?

People are still having problems months after the game was released? Hmm

Still glitched. No progress, even after finishing the level.

The only thing I can suggest is trying to get the achievement offline. I’ve never really run into glitched achievements before, without already knowing some random solution

Any ideas for this? I am stuck at 10% and have been doing offline/online kills for almost 2 days now and nothing.

Update: I play and just get regular kills and my stats have gone up to 40% even when I am not killing cows/sheep/etc. I wonder what the issue is, I do see people unlocking the achievement as well.

I unlocked the achievement just now. I let my Golem kill ads near animals in Creeper Woods and the progress bar kept going up. Try this method if your stuck.

Just started this on April 1st and it's not tracking for me at all - some of the other achievements do track progress, but it seems like most of the 'kill X number of mobs' are not. I've tried playing both online and offline, completing the mission every time, and the tracker is still stuck at 0%.

Same issues and start date as JKSullivan above. I did get the one for killing 50 mobs to finally pop, but I’m sure I had to kill over a 1000 to get that. All other mob killing achievements are stuck on 0%.

Update: I finally completed this by using pets to get the kills. The Gollum worked best because its wide swings could hit livestock easier when attacking regular mobs.

Over 1000?!? Now that I think about it I think I actually did have some problems where I thought I had killed way more than enough, but apparently hadn't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Stuck at 20%, don't have a golem yet. I guess I will have to try the golem technique when I finally obtain one.

Using the Golem is working for me as i Sat for about 3 hours next to the 4 mob spawners in Redstone Ruins and got zero % increase. 1 hour with the Golem and my 2500 kills went up 20% also i have found for alot of cheevs in this game they only track in 10% increments.

Yeah, that’s true. The game seems to track pretty much all achievements in small 10% increments.

As a Win10/Xbox Player with the Launcher Version myself i am stuck at 10% while i just reached Apo +3. It may be possible that only Standard Difficulty ones count, will Edit soon after i did some testing.

I got this in one run of Creeper Woods using a weak avlxe with Level 1 Fire Aspect enchantment. Big shoutout/thankyou to Inferno9209 ^^ his comment was what i needed to do.

Maybe it is patched now, because I started playing again after a long hiatus, and this achievement started tracking again. I was finally able to unlock it just now.

I used an enchanted sword with burn damage and would attack the mobs and let the burn damage kill them for it to count, only way I could get it to track as I don't have the Iron golem yet. Did it on adventure difficulty and apocalypse they both counted.

Passive Mobs are any cow, sheep, pig, or chicken roaming around in the game. You just need to kill 50 of them. Creeper Woods has probably the largest amount of animals in the game. Just playing through it a few times probably will nab you the trophy.

Passive mobs include the cows, sheep, and pigs with chests that do not attack you even if you attack them. If you play through the game naturally killing everything in your path, you should get this quickly. You can replay Creeper Woods multiple times to grind out passive mob kills as there are a lot of them in this level.

The dlc also includes dolphins, mountain cows, goats and llamas. You will receive the trophy in the first half of the game when you complete platinum/100%.
