How to unlock the Pet the Dog achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide

You just have to click cn_A on the wolf located in town in front of the bridge leading to the new DLC tower.

UPDATE : Since the Luminous Night update the location has changed. The dog is
now located by the 2 pigs in a pen next to the dummy punching bag on the right side of the map. (Thanks Skate 323, DuckStep and afrek)

No dog there for me, can anyone confirm if you have to have the DLC packs too or just the title updates?
(I'm fully updated but no DLC)

Ok so just to add, I have downloaded the DLC and the doggo is now there, so you need the DLC not just the title update to get this achievement.

You don't need the DLC. He appears anyway. You just need to have beaten the Arch Illiger.

For some reason the wolf wasn't by the bridge leading to the tower for me. He was next to the pens with the 2 pigs in them. Maybe they changed his location with the last update?

For me, the dog was located by the 2 pigs in a pen. Which are located next to the scarecrow dummy punching bag. I have no DLC btw so it was not needed.

Can confirm that the dog is located by the 2 pigs in a pen/dummy training area on the right side. Guide needs updated.

Not sure if I'm being blind or not,, but dog isn't by the 2 pigs in the pen
Edit 13/06 - not sure what happened but he spawned by the 2 pigs? Not idea why or how but I'll take it

The wolf keeps spawning on top of a house for me? Never near the pigs or fighting dummy.

At the start of the bridge to the Tower in camp, there is now a wolf just hanging out. Walk up to it and press the interact button to pet the wolf.

In the Camp just past the Mission Select there is a Wolf. You press cn_A to interact with it.

If the Wolf isn't there you need to beat the Arch-Illager at least once and get:
Minecraft DungeonsSaved the OverworldThe Saved the Overworld achievement in Minecraft Dungeons worth 161 pointsDefeat the Arch-Illager at the Obsidian Pinnacle.


After you beat the Arch-Illager once the Wolf will be in the Camp once you load back in.

The Wolf as an interactable NPC which can be found in your camp. His original location prior to Season 2 was right next to the Blacksmith. As of right now(during Season 2), he can be found on the right side of the camp next to the pigs. For me, he only showed up after completing the game once.

After you find him, give him a pet to receive a warm, fuzzy feeling and your trophy.

There will be a dog sitting in the hub near the blacksmith, you need to go up to it and pet it (an interaction button will appear)

Not at the blacksmith's at all. The dog is located near the player's house. Where the scarecrow is. Most likely changed with patches.
