How to unlock the Rampart Rampage achievement in Minecraft Dungeons - Definitive Guide

You will need to play Windswept Peaks and advance past the elevator area and past the ambushes through some gates. The path should branch to an upper and lower section, the door you need can be found at the end of the lower path. You can drop down from the higher path onto the platform on the lower path to enter the door. Head inside and defeat the ambushes to grab the scroll and unlock the Colossal Rampart secret level.

Quick trick to determining if you have the secret path before getting too far into the level!

The previous guides are great at showing how to locate the path to access the secret. The problem with the achievement is the RNG and hoping you get the path to spawn. So when you load up Windfall Peaks, go to your map and check the number of chests in the level. If you have:

8 chests or less means the path WILL NOT SPAWN
9-10 cheats means there is a sight chance
11+ chests means the path should spawn 100% at this time of posting.

Check that number before running the level and save yourself some time. I believe I got it around my 15th try or so.

Worked fine for me first try, I loaded up with 12 chests and found it, and you have to drop from above the entrance to get in.

Neither guide mentions that you have to HOLD down on d pad to open bigger map and see number of chests

I've done multiple runs with double digit chests with no luck. Little googling shows 12 is the magic number.

Had 13 chests, no secret path. Restarted the mission like 15 times till I got 12 chests at the start of the mission. Got to that cave, checked again, had 18 chests!

Great tip! Used this to reload until I had 10 chests (0 secrets). Found the area on my first run! Will be playing the new map tomorrow.

Not working for me, I'm afraid. Done a run with 11 chests and one with 14, no secret path on either...

EDIT: did (finally) get the secret path, and it was on a run with 11 chests on the map at the start of the level.

#Edit 1 - If you play the level with someone who has the mission achievement will pop for you either
#Edit 2 - Some guys told me today (16/12/20) that they deleted the location of the secret level. I can not confirm because I unlocked it before..

Finally, after 13 tries, I was able to find the Colossal Rampart's map.
Remember it is really rare to find this one, because you have to have some luck *RNG*
So here's what you gotta do:
1. Choose Windswept Peaks level
2. You need to reach the arena where there are 3 gates (after you get out of the 2nd elevator)
3. After you clear the arena go out and show the map by cn_down and see if you have map like in the picture (link)

4. If you have the luck you will able to find a big gold gate/door there, just go over to the gate and fall in front of it and go inside.
5. Go straight the way, untill you will see the map on table/brick (there will be a ambush too)
6. Pick the map and that's all, you will unlock the secret level
7. Just complete the Colossal Rampart mission and you are done

Is the map considered a 'secret'? Can you load the level and look at the 'Secret'/'Chest' count as soon as the level is loaded to know if the map is present? If the 'Secret' count is 0, keep reloading the level until the 'Secret' count is 1?

For another data point, I just found the scroll, it was not classed as a secret, after picking it up I still had 0/1. I had 3 chests in the area as well, and a total chest count of 17. The highest chest count I'd seen with it not spawning was 10, so checking for a high chest count could be a good indicator of whether on not it's there.

Found the map unlock using the chest count method mentioned in another guide. Had 10 chests and 0 secrets. Found the map using the guidance in this... guide.

Will be playing the unlocked map tomorrow for a daily achievement. Thanks for the guide!

Ok, it DOES NOT show as a secret when you launch the level. Not 100% on the chest count, but pretty sure I had 0/0 secret 0/7 chests at the beginning. Found the spot, got to the scroll, and when I grabbed it the game crashed. Good times.

Loaded the game and same mission (on Adventure VII), and had 1 secret at launch. Played through and had the door again, found the scroll, and managed to get it without issue. At the end I still was missing the secret, so not sure what it is (hidden chest maybe)...but the doorway/level definitely isn't it.

Colossal Rampart is the secret level in the Howling Peaks DLC. You will need to unlock it by finding the hidden scroll in the first level of the Howling Peaks DLC, Windswept Peaks. After unlocking the level, playthrough it on whatever difficulty you want to earn this achievement.

Video guide (en) on finding the scroll for the secret level. A 100% option to avoid going through the entire location is to start the level and look at the map, if there are 12 or more chests on it, then the chance of a scroll appearing is maximum. If there are less than 12 chests, then the probability of appearance is very low. View the map and the number of chests - hold the touchpad.
