How to unlock the Into Fire achievement in Minecraft: Edition - Definitive Guide

To get a Rod from a Blaze you need to be in the Nether and you can get there via the Nether Portal. You'll need to be near a Dungeon/Castle where the Blaze spawn and you'll want to have at least Iron Armour and strong weapons. Simply hit the Blaze a few times and it will die and if your lucky enough it will drop a Rod. Pick it up and you'll get the Achievement.

Here's a video I made for my channel of how to get the Achievement.

The reason its like that is because everybodys world is different. No 2 worlds are the same so its pointless me showing where my nether portal is because it wont be in the same spot. You have to move your portal around until you get it close to the castle. For example, I had to pillar up to mine because I was way underneath it when I went through the nether. Some people have it literally as you go through.

Using S bot 9000's Nether portal coordinates for the updated Tutorial world, there is a Nether fortress with blazes at coordinates X -32, Y 70, Z 51.

Had an easy spot to find them in the tutorial that a buddy showed me. They ALWAYS appear there which made it super easy.

For coip's X -32, Y 70, Z 51 coords for the nether fortress you'll walk up and see a huge hole. Look down and you can see the edge of the fortress sticking out. Just go around to the side and drop in and just run down the hallway and you find a blaze spawner

This achievement isn't too bad, first you must create a Nether Portal. View the solution below if you don't know how to build one. You will get an achievement for 40 gamerscore if you haven't already built one. If you don't wish to build a Nether Portal, you can always join a friends world who already has one.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 EditionInto The NetherThe Into The Nether achievement in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition worth 52 pointsConstruct a Nether Portal.

Once you have your Nether Portal built, go through to the Nether (make sure you are playing on Survival mode and at least Easy difficulty)

Once you enter, find a blaze. They are yellow floating enemies that shoot fire balls at you. Kill one and hope that it drops a rod. It would make things much easier if you use armor and a good sword to kill it faster but it is not necessary.

UPDATE: If you have a friend who has already killed a blaze and picked up a rod, all you have to do is have him/her drop it so you can pick it up and the achievement is yours.

"Top tip: if you kill it with arrows it will drop a rod and more stuff." - PLANET13

In order to unlock this achievement, you will need to have access to the Nether by either obtaining enough obsidian to make a portal or by finding the portal in the Tutorial world (X: -236, Y: 94, Z: 203).

Once you enter the portal, you will spawn in the Nether. Be sure to keep the difficulty at least peaceful and be sure to be armed with weapons, food, and decent potions.

If you venture further into the Nether, you should eventually stumble upon a Nether Fortress made of dark red bricks called Nether Bricks.

Try to find a way to get in there, preferably after drinking a fire-resistance potion, as you never know when you will fall.

Learn how to make a fire resistance potion: https://www.digminecraft.com/brewing_recipes/make_potion_fir...,wart%2C%20and%201%20magma%20cream.

If this is also your first potion, you will unlock this achievement:

Once you have found a way into the fortress, look for a room with a spawner (a cage with a tiny mob spinning inside it) and wait there until a Blaze spawns.

Once your opponent spawns, immediately strike it with your sword before it has the chance to shoot a fireball at you. If you have a decent sword (Diamond-Enchanted Diamond) this should be easy. Upon killing it, it should drop a blaze rod, which can be used to make a brewing stand, which is used for brewing potions.

If it did not drop a rod, you can wait until another spawns, and then you can kill it. Once you pick up the blaze rod, the achievement is yours.
