How to unlock the Leader of the Pack achievement in Minecraft: Edition - Definitive Guide
Solution for the NEWEST tutorial world
Load up the tutorial, run up the first set of stairs, then take the first left before the beacon. Continue forward and open the chest to find 10 bones. At this point, you can create a save that you can reload. Then, head over to the two wolves in the pen and use the bones to befriend them. Then, either reload the file or search around for a few more.
Depending on the wolf, they'll take between 1-5 bones to tame them. If you run out of bones, simply reload your save or start a fresh tutorial file and repeat the above process. You do not need to befriend all 5 wolves in one game or all at one time.

You should edit this to include that there are two wolves right away in a pen next to that chest.

If the tutorial world doesn't work for you use the seed 3893701637533844536. There is a desert temple close to spawn, it has 25 bones and other gubs, I'm fairly sure there is a wolf spawner about as there was a lot of wolfs around spawn too.
The reason I don't have the achievement is because I was playing with the wife at the time and she got it.

Wolf spawner? Chill, don't write guides.

This achievement is simple but potentially time-consuming. First, you want to have about 20 bones from slaying skeletons or walking around early in the morning and picking up what is left of them, since daylight kills them.
After you have 20 bones, walk around until you find wolves and tame them by using the bone on them with . You may have to do this multiple times per wolf. If you use the bone on them the whole pack will attack (and most likely kill) you, so be careful.
Repeat this five times and the achievement is yours!

For this achievement to unlock, simply TAME five wolves.
You will need bones to tame wolves. press LT when looking at a wolf and holding a bone, and the wolf will either get black particles or heart particles over its head. Heart particles mean the wolf is tamed, and you can bring it anywhere you like!
Repeat this five times, and the achievement should pop!
NOTE: Puppies from two tamed wolves do NOT count for this achievement.

To befriend a wolf, you will need to give a couple of bones. How many bones you will need to get a wolf is random, sometimes a wolf will be your friend after one bone or sometimes it could be three bones. To find bones, you will need to kill skeletons. Get enough bones and befriend enough wolves then the achievement will pop! Note: This can be done on multiple worlds unlike the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.
