How to unlock the Local Brewery achievement in Minecraft: Edition - Definitive Guide

This can easily done in the tutorial area.

After completing/skipping the tutorial, head up the stairs and on your right there will be a building with brewing stands and cauldrons. Open the chest take out the ingredients, and make a potion, follow the tutorial providing by the game if you are not sure how to do so.

Anyone else having problems with this achievement? I've made a few different potions now and it still hasn't popped for me.

I am also having trouble. Does it have to do with Title Update 19?

Seems like this achievement has become glitched, possibly by an update.

It seems so... I have also been trying to follow some of the other guides but since the latest update nothing looks the same on tutorial mode anymore either.

I've unlocked Stayin' Frosty by making a fire resistant potion but this achievement didn't unlock. I've made several potions since then but it still doesn't unlock. I've searched on the internet and it seems that the last title update broke this achievement and possibly also Return to Sender.

Would it be possible to import the Tutorial World from the 360? Or is this a different one from the former Tutorial on the One?

This achievement is currently glitched for some people, and not popping, xbox and 4j are working on it though, and should be fixed fairly soon.

Added, although I'm fairly certain you don't need to actually complete the full potion for the achievement, mundane or awkward potion is enough.

There are 2 Ways to do this, the easy way or the easy-ish way.

1. Tutorial Area, simply earned by going up the stairs and to your right, simply brew a potion, there are some ways to do this, but Nether Wart and Magma Cream are easy to get, a easy 15G.

2. Tutorial World, in one of the houses in the city there is a Nether Portal, go through it and find a Blaze, kill it and acquire its Blaze Rod, Iron Ingots are also needed and easily found in the Tutorial Area, this will give you the Into Fire Achievement, simply exit the nether and make your own Brewing Stand (Do it near the area where you can do it the easy way for the cauldrons) and use the same ingredients, there is a nice 35G.

To create a potion stand, you will need three pieces of cobblestone and a blaze rod. Once you've created the stand, you will need a glass bottle; glass bottles are made using three pieces of glass. Glass can be made by smelting pieces of sand. Fill the bottle up with water, now place it inside of the potion stand; now you will need either a ghast tear, a fermented spider eye, blaze powder or magna cream. Those pieces are all items that enemies drop when they're killed, with the exception of the spider eye all of those can only be found in the Nether. Once you have one of those pieces, place it into the potion stand; wait for the potion to brew and you now have the achievement!

If you want the achievement ASAP, a potion stand and the right supplies can also be found in the Tutorial world after the first set of stairs.
