This Achievement should be fairly easy in the tutorial world I assume, but I have completed in my own survival world and these are the steps to take:

Items needed:

1x Water bottle
1x Gunpower
1x Nether Wart
1x Spider Eye

Assuming that you know how to use the brewing station you will need to brew this potion in this same exact order to get a Splash Poison Potion.

Add 1x Water bottle and 1x Gunpowder to the brewing station to create a Splash Water Bottle.

Next, while keeping the Splash Water Bottle in place, replace the gunpowder with the 1x Nether Wart to create a "Akward Splash Potion",

Next, replace the Nether Wart with a 1x Spider Eye that you can get from killing spiders to the Akward Splash Potion to create "Splash Potion of Poison (0.45)

**Note**
You can add glowstone dust to the current Splash Potion of Poison (0.45) to create "Splash Potion of Poison II (0.21) or replace the glowstone with Redstone to create "Splash Potion of Poison+" but not sure how the others effect the Witch considering I only tried the first "Splash Potion of Poison (0.45).

In order to throw potions the bottle has to say Splash or the player will drink the potion instead.

**NOTE**

Ok, moving on. Wait til dark and go searching for a witch or if you have a cave near by that they spawn fairly then that might be your best chance. I would also prepare two potions just incase you may need a back up or if the first one didnt work. Now find a Witch and give her a Taste of Her own Medicine for a nice 20gs to add to your achievement collection.

Load the Elytra tutorial.

First we need a splash potion. The hardest ingredient to get is a regular old Spider Eye from a spider. You'll need to be playing on a difficulty other than peaceful for this.

Enemy spawn tip
Head to an area where you can see a decent amount of space. Slightly outside the village to the left (west on the map) is another little hut village with a hill behind it. This place works great. Save the game here at night on peaceful. If you aren't on peaceful, save it, reload it on peaceful, then save it. Now just reload this save on easy to get a new monster spawn. You should have line of sight to a bunch of areas. You can walk around for 30 seconds or so and if you don't see a spider reload.

With your spider eye, head back in to the village and head East/right of the beacon to find the brewing area. The area slightly to the right of the brewing area has a fireworks chest. Open it and grab
- Gunpowder
Now head to the chest next to the brewing stand and grab:
- Empty Bottle
- Nether Wart
- Blaze Powder

Use an empty bottle on the sink to fill it with water.
Now use the brewing station.
- Place the Blaze Powder in the upper left
- Put the Bottle of Water in the leftmost potion slot
- Put the Nether Wart in the top slot
- Wait for the Awkward Potion to brew
- Put the Spider Eye in the top slot
- Wait for the Potion of Poison to brew
- Put the Gunpowder in the top slot
- Wait for the Splash Potion of Poison to Brew

Head back to where you found the spider and use the tip above to get the Witch to spawn. I only had to load three times before I could see one. Save before you throw the potion just in case it doesn't pop.

You may have the ingredients to make a splash poison potion in the actual tutorial town, but I found a small tree fort in the tutorial world that already had the ingreds as well as an already made splash poison potion at coords X:286, Y:93, Z: -10.

Go to the top floor and there are 2 brewing stations one with potion of invis and splash poison and another with health and swiftness. It also has some ingreds for other potions if you want to take those for other achievements as well as nether wart and nether bricks (without having to go to nether).

After getting the free potion just find a witch and hit her with it. Simple!
