How to unlock the Into The Nether achievement in Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition - Definitive Guide

It’s really difficult to build a portal, it’s better not to rush with this matter, but I’ll describe it briefly. By combining lava and water, we get obsidian, which can only be mined with a diamond pickaxe (the recipe is the same, only you need to put diamonds in the first line.) Having extracted 12 blocks of obsidian, you need craft a lighter. (I don’t remember exactly, but you need to get iron and flint and put them diagonally), (look for flint in the sand). And then the most interesting thing is to dig a hole 4 blocks long and 1 wide. Put 4 obsidian blocks in it, respectively. Place 3 blocks high on the sides, and close the rectangle with the last two. Take the lighter and click on the obsidian RT. The achievement is yours, and to enter the portal, you need to stand in it for 5-6 seconds.

the achievement is actually easy, you just need buckets, go down as deep as possible, collect lava in buckets, and fill the lava in the shape of the portal, first the bottom row of 4 blocks, then fill them with water, pick up the water, and so we build all five floors of the portal (sand is very good for molds) after which we remove the excess and set it on fire.

no need to blow up the hole, it's not necessary

There is a typo here, the flint is not in sand, but in gravel (a pinkish block with black and brown inclusions, similar to sand).

So, we put 4 blocks of obsidian at the base, 4 blocks on the sides, connect the top blocks and set them on fire with a lighter. To get obsidian we need a diamond pickaxe; obsidian is obtained by the contact of lava and water (not flowing lava, but a source). The corners of the portal can be made of any blocks, or they may not exist at all.

Don’t be too lazy to take a blank map and write down the coordinates when leaving the portal in Hell.
It's easy to get lost there.

I would also like to add that to build the portal you will need 10 obsidian blocks.
And for those who do not understand what the portal should look like, I will attach a screenshot.
PS the version of the portal on the screen is not taboo, the portal can have other proportions and shapes, it’s just that this one is one of the cheapest and most compact.
