How to unlock the Benchmarking achievement in Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition - Definitive Guide

In order to make a Crafting Table you first need to harvest one Wood block from a tree.

Once you have at least one block of Wood in your inventory press cn_X to open the crafting menu and craft the Wood block into Wooden Planks, one Wood block crafts 4 Wooden Planks.

Once you have your 4 Wooden Planks you can craft your Crafting Table.
A Crafting Table requires 4 Wooden Planks

For this achievement you'll need to craft a workbench with 4 wooden planks. To do so, you'll need to chop/punch a block of wood from a tree. From there, press X to enter the crafting menu and craft 4 wooden planks from the 1 block of wood. Finally scroll over to the workbench and select it to craft it and pop the achievement.

This will net you 10G!

In order to get this achievement, punch a tree with RT and get one block.

Then press X and make 4 wooden planks. Then go to Crafting Table and craft it. There is your next achievement. in the game.

I have made a video on how to easily get this achievement.

Benchmarking
Craft a work bench with 4 wooden planks

Step 1 - Chop down a tree (1 block needed but why not just the whole thing to be sure)
Step 2 - Press X and make as many wooden planks as possible by pressing A (4 needed at least)
Step 3 - Once you made your wooden planks go over one to crafting table and simply press A to create one with 4 wooden planks and ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED

Difficulty: Easy
Requirements: 4 wooden planks
What to do: Retrieve 1 or 2 wooden blocks by punching trees. Then press cn_X to open up the crafting menu. Then go to the wooden planks and craft a few. Then go to the crafting table symbol and craft a crafting table. Afterwards you can place it on the floor to craft more advanced stuff.

First you will need to mine some wood from a tree and then use crafting to make that into wooden planks,

Description pretty much says it all, press  to access the crafting menu and use four blocks of those wooden planks to make yourself a handy little workbench.
