Biome Scale : Medium

Do NOT set the difficulty to peaceful or the Evokers will not spawn. (thanks to WJS Osiris for the info)

Turn around and the mansion is right in front of you

You will want to mine for some iron armor and a sword to take on the tough mobs in the mansion

The Evoker is the villager looking mob that casts spells

After you kill the Evoker they will drop a Totem of Undying

Just Equip the Totem and let any mob kill you (The Totem has to be in your hand or it wont activate)

When you get to zero hearts the totem will spin around and you will get the achievement

Can using Totem only once or it remains in your hand after every use?

you can only use it once after that it gets destroyed

I did all this. Killed the evoker and used the totem. No achievements :-( Any thought? I spent several hours mining iron and I would not want to delete the saving...

You really don't need iron. Just make a cobblestone sword. Get a bunch of dirt, and on the outside of the mansion, jump/place dirt until you're to the top floor. Look through the windows until you find an evoker. Break the glass, run in, and whack whack before he has time to do anything.

You may also get the Feeling Ill achievement if you defeat a Evoker for the first time

Also make sure you equip/switch to the totem before dying.

The Cheating Death achievement can be achieved in the public Battle mini game much quicker, the only requirement is having a 2nd controller or a friend willing to help you out.

Start a public Battle match and begin looting every chest, as there is a chance you can find a Totem fo Undying in one of them. I got one during my 2nd attempt. After you find one, just hold it in your hand and get killed and there you should have your achievement.
