Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition

You will need 2 Sticks + 3 Wooden Planks to craft a Wooden Pickaxe, as well as a Crafting Table.

In order to make a Wooden Pickaxe you first need to craft a Crafting Table (Details here: Solution for Benchmarking In Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition)

Once you have your Crafting Table and have at least two blocks of Wood in your inventory walk up to your Crafting Table and press to open the crafting menu and craft the Wood blocks into Wooden Planks, one wood block crafts 4 Wooden Planks.

Now craft one of the Wooden Planks into Sticks.

You are now ready to craft your Wooden Pickaxe.
A Pickaxe requires 3 Wooden Planks and 2 Sticks.

For this achievement you'll need 3 wooden planks and 2 sticks to craft a wooden pickaxe. Wooden planks and sticks can be crafted from blocks of wood from trees. You'll also need a workbench to craft it on.

Upon crafting the pickaxe you'll net 10G!

When you spawn, break down the first tree you see. Then hit 'X' and make wooden planks. Then make a crafting table and break down another tree or two. Back to the table and make one pile of sticks. Now just build a pickaxe.

I made a video for anyone having trouble with this achievement. I show everything you would need to do step by step if you were just starting off.
Step 1 - Chop down a couple trees with your fist (you will get an achievement for this)
Step 2 - Hit (X) on Xbox version to open up crafting menu
Step 3 - Create as much wooden planks as you can (Hit A on the first item that shows up)
Step 4 - Build as much sticks as you can but leave about 4 wooden planks
Step 5 - Keep your crafting menu open and create a crafting table. (You might need to go chop more trees down and make more wooden planks and sticks.)
Step 6 - Go to your crafting table and hit (RB)
Step 7 - First thing on your tools is the wooden pickax (Simply press A to equip one.)

THIS IS EASY YOU JUST HAVE TO GET 5 WOODEN BLOCKS AND MAKE 1 WOODEN BLOCK INTO A STICK THEN GO TO YOU'RE MAKING BENCH AND GO LEFT AND YOU WILL SE A WOODEN PICKAXE THEN JUST PRESS A AND THERE GOES YOURE ACHIEVEMENT
