This is the easiest to do with 'Futo' as he is the biggest out of all five ninja.

You will first come across a 'large one' when you gain access to the Castle.

Simply land two normal (X) attacks on the 'large one', you will then be prompted (on-screen) to press (A).

When you press (A) 'Futo' will jump up and hit the 'large one' on his head with his hammer.

Simply repeat this process untill you defeat 'large one'. On the hardest difficulty a 'large one' shouldn't need more than 2-3 attacks in this manner to beat.

The first 'Large One' Samurai you fight is on level 3 Earth Castle.

You will see him when you enter the castle and go across the bridge.

He is quite easy to beat, simply swap to Futo and attack with

and

.

There will also be a prompt to mash

to smack him on the head with Futo's hammer.

Once killed the trophy will unlock!

You encounter large samurais in various levels. As far as I know Futo is the only one that can take them down. Just use him to defeat one and you'll get the trophy.

Will unlock on Level 3 or later

You will encounter you first 'big guy' when in the courtyard of the castle on the 3rd level. The best way to defeat him, is to get rid of the mini and medium sized samurai so you won't have any enemy running in your way. Next, kick this big guy twice with and normally there should be a big appear above his head. Press when prompted! Now, either immediately start the same attack, or sprint away from him while pressing as he will probably swing his club. Repeat two more times and the achievement is yours.
One hit from his club = almost instant death, and you'll find yourself back at the entrance of the courtyard!
Later in the game, the RED large samurai will take 5 hits (1 hit = double combo followed by ) to get them down. The BLUE ones take only 3 hits.
