There 100 of these statues scattered throughout the game. Some are in plain view, others not so much. Fortunately, ErmacVersion1, from over at our sister site, has compiled an excellent guide for these which I've minimally edited with his permission. Here is a link to my edited version: Jizo Statue Guide. Like "Animal Friend", there is much debate over whether this trophy is missable or not. Since a guide is provided, I would just be sure to collect all of these statues for a given level before you move on to the next.

To keep track of how many figurines you have collected, you can either pause the game and go to the progress tab, or at the end of each level you are offered to either replay it again or go to the next level. You can do it yourself or use this video
