How to unlock the Play a game in Race mode achievement in Minigolf Adventure - Definitive Guide

This achievement has to be done with a second controller, it does not unlock against the AI (cpu).
For the quickest way:
Start the game with 2 controllers connected to your xbox, for some reason when I turned on the second controller while I was already in the game it didn't work so I had to fully quit out the game then restart it.
Then click on race in the main menu, click 2 players, pick your ball with each controller.
Pick forest (or which ever one you prefer) and pick 3 holes as this is the quickest way.
Then just play the 3 holes with both controllers.
This mode will be in split screen, to unlock the achievement you must make sure both controllers finish the 3 holes within 30 seconds of each other, so what I did is played with the first controller and leave the ball near the hole then picked up the other controller and got the ball in the hole then putt in the other ball then repeat for the next 2 holes. When you putt the ball in the last hole a 30 second countdown begins, make sure you putt the other ball in the hole before this countdown ends or else the achievement will not pop.
The achievement pops as soon as you finish with both balls.

this was helpful. first i played race with 4 people, but whenever one of us went of the course we hit some sort of bug and were never able to respawn. second time i tried, it was just me and two controllers. i however, let the timer run out. ..... then i thought to myself.. geeeeze i better go check trueachievements.
