Lost Temple North - Basement Key
To clear Lost Temple North you have to SPAWN from a house and die in the room, then you have to do that for each of the four houses. The only way I know how to do this is to use the warps in the basements. So go to a house, get the notice it's your new home, die, respawn, travel to the Lost Temple North, and die again. Make sure that you don't accidentally get reset to a different house when you are warping.
When you successfully do this, another group of trees grows depending on which area you died from. After you have done this from all four houses, the door will be destroyed and you can get a coin (which is technically in the basement of the Sneaker Hut).
Lost Temple East - Watering Can
If you use the Watering Can on the fire in Lost Temple East, you will enter a room full of fire and bats. The goal is to make it across the room with full health. If you do that, the door will be open and you can find a chest with a coin. If you get hit, you'll have to start over on a new respawn.
Lost Temple South - Fast Shoes
Lost Temple South is a really long maze. The only way to get through it is to rush through with the Fast Shoes. Even with the Fast Shoes you'll barely make it so you'll have to avoid hitting as many walls as possible so you can keep charging.
Lost Temple West - 8 Tentacles
This is a gift from the Octopus for finding all 8 of his Tentacles.

For the temple, you must complete all 4 puzzles within it.
The south you need the fast shoes and run through the maze to find a heart.
The east room you need to get past all the bats without taking damage and grab the coin
The west room you need to collect all 8 tentacles and get the Turbo Ink
The north room requires you to spawn in each house (Island Hut, Starting House, Caravan and Hotel) and then run to the north room of the temple and die there. You must do this for all 4 and then return to find the way open and a coin waiting for you.
After this video, you should be only missing the achievement for beating Second Run mode.

Mendel
The secret temple can be found in the desert, two screens south of the Sneaker Hut. Inside, there are four different rooms. I'm assuming the octopus room counts as a puzzle, so I'll be including it.
North Room: Once you have access to the televators, you need to start from all four homes (first house, camper, island home and hotel) and make your way to the secret temple. Head to the north room with the four trees, and die. Once you've died in that room while starting from all four locations, you'll be able to continue north in that room to a chest. For all four locations, you can use the televator to warp to the Sneaker Hut and get to the secret temple that way.
West Room: An octopus will ask you to find his 8 tentacles. Please see Marine Biologist for a list of tentacle locations. Once you've found all 8, return to him.
East Room: Head to the secret temple with your watering can, and when you get inside, go right, putting out the fire. You'll need to reach the end of this room without getting hit, so go slow, put out as much of the fire as you can to clear yourself a space. If you do get hit, you'll need to die and try again.
South Room: Once you've purchased the running shoes, head to the secret temple and run through the maze to find a heart.
The, Pants, Party
There are four unique puzzles in the temple to solve. All of them are covered in the video guide found under the "MINIMALIST" achievement. The following steps are needed:
- North: You need to die four times in this room after spawning in each of the four save points. In other words, spawn from your home and then go to this room and die. Change your spawn to the camper, island, and hotel (in any order) and be sure to die once in between each change.
- South: After getting the running shoes (which cost 9 coins), run through this room to get the heart at the end.
- East: Bring the watering can and get through the fire, dodging enemies, to collect the coin at the end.
- West: Complete the "MARINE BIOLOGIST" achievement, finding all eight tentacles and getting the Ink item.

1. Northern Puzzle: You must enter this room and die, starting at each checkpoint. That is, put it in the hotel as a spawn point (just go into it), run here and die, then do the same with the starting house and the minibus house and the island. Before this you need to open the teleports, otherwise it won’t work.
2. Southern Puzzle: You need to first get the Quick Boots item, then just run through the maze. You'll have plenty of time, so don't hesitate.
3. Western puzzle: Completion indicated in the Marine Biologist trophy.
4. Eastern puzzle: You need to bring a watering can to this puzzle to put out the lights, then walk past the bats without taking damage, otherwise the door will close (In NG+ you need to put out all the lights in the puzzle).
