How to unlock the TOURIST achievement in MINIT - Definitive Guide
This guide is also for normal mode.
Leave the Caravan and pick up the Watering Can. Head 3 South into the desert and water the man who we see here. This man is known as the Sign Maker. You can die now (press ).
Leave the Caravan and head 1 West and 1 South (through the quicksand). You'll run past the Sign Maker who will thank you for the water. Head 1 West and enter the Cave. Collect the Gardening Glove. Your sword has been upgraded and you can now cut trees down.
Leave the Cave and head 1 South and 1 West and cut the tree. Head around the water and 1 North. Enter House to set your spawn back at House. You can die again, so press .
Leave House and go 1 North. Chop the large tree down and collect Boatwood. Head to 1 South, 2 West and 1 South. Deliver Boatwood to the guy near the boat.
You can then jump into the guy's boat and head to the island, but you probably won't have enough time, so die, respawn at the house and make your way back. Once you reach the island the achievement will pop and there is a hut you can enter to create a new respawn point.
Once you have the watering can and reach the camper home, head south three screens to find someone lost in the desert. Water them with the watering can, and on your next life, go to the sign maker. You can now go left, where you'll find a set of stairs. Head down to find the glove. After receiving the Gardening Glove, the guy you saved in the desert will now be standing by the boat near the lighthouse. From the starting home, go north and you'll see a weird looking tree. Cut it down to receive the boatwood, which you can give to the guy to repair his boat and reach the island.
The island can be accessed after saving the man in the desert with the Watering Can, finding the Gardening Glove in the dungeon west of the sign maker, getting the Boatwood north of your house, and giving it to the man on the beach. You'll need to die once so he builds the boat, then take a trip to the island.
