Coin 1: Starting House - No Requirements
Just break the pot in your house.
Coin 2: Hidden in Snake Tunnel - Flashlight
In the Snake Tunnel there's a false wall. Go through the false wall and you'll find yourself in an invisible maze. Push left and you'll find another room with a chest and coin in it.
Coin 3: Underneath Quicksand - No Requirements
There's a quicksand pit one screen west of the Desert Campsite. The quicksand pit spans two screens, it's easiest to get the coin if you sink in the southern screen. Once you fall through, there's no way out and you'll run out of time so make sure you got the new house first if that's where you want to respawn. In the pit you'll find a treasure chest with a coin. Be careful of all the scorpions in the pit once you fall through.
Coin 4: Dumpster by Sneaker Hut - No Requirements
There's a large dumpster near the Sneaker Hut. Just hit it with your sword a coin pops out.
Coin 5: Hidden Part of Warehouse - No Requirements
There's a hole in the wall near the Sneaker Hut. Hit it with your sword and a secret entrance opens up. Inside there's a chest with a coin in it.
Coin 6: Desert Ruins - No Requirements
If you travel around until you get to the screen that's directly north of the Sneaker Hut you'll find a sign that points east towards "Ruins." Travel east a few screens and you'll find a broken down truck. Near it is a chest with a coin in it.
Coin 7: Lost Temple East - Watering Can
If you use the Watering Can on the fire in Lost Temple East, you will enter a room full of fire and bats. The goal is to make it across the room with full health. If you do that, the door will be open and you can find a chest with a coin. If you get hit, you'll have to start over on a new respawn.
You now have enough coins to buy the Fast Shoes at the Sneaker Hut on Normal.
Coin 8: Storeroom of Hotel - No Requirements
In the back of the Hotel is a Storeroom that has a chest with a coin in it. Just walk into the back of the Hotel building where the door is and you'll be in the Storeroom. Push the boxes out of the way and you'll get your coin.
Coin 9: Defeat Woods Gang Three Times - No Requirements
After you save the Hotel Guest from the Woods Gang, you can keep fighting them. You'll have to defeat them three times to get the coin. Each time you defeat the group, you'll have to die and respawn. Each time you fight the, there will be an additional guy to defeat.
Coin 10: Inside the Waterfall - Flippers
On the same screen as the entrance to the Snake Cave, there's a Waterfall. Use the Flippers to swim into the Waterfall and there's a chest with a coin inside.
Coin 11: Peninsula Near Land Fish - Flippers
If you go near the land fish by the Tavern, you can see a little ramp near the ocean. Swim over to the ramp, follow the path, and you'll find a chest with a coin in it.
Coin 12: Coin in Sewers - Flippers
There's a pot on the right of the screen with the Tavern. This pot needs to be hit three times to be destroyed and reveals an entrance to some sewers. Follow the sewers north and when you find the exit, follow the stream to find a chest with a coin.
Coin 13: Island Through the Sewers - No Requirements
Go into the Sewers the same way you did for coin 13. Where you find coin 13 is a staircase out. Take the stairs and you'll find yourself on an island with a chest and coin.
Coin 14: Treasure Island - Flippers
If you swim to the Treasure Island the Old Man by the Lighthouse talks about, then you will find this coin (along with a tentacle). From the Lighthouse swim one screen west and then swim south until you find the island with the chest with the coin in it.
Coin 15: Lost Temple North - Basement Key
To clear Lost Temple North you have to SPAWN from a house and die in the room, then you have to do that for each of the four houses. When you successfully do this, another group of trees grows depending on which area you died from. After you have done this from all four houses, the door will be destroyed and you can get the coin (which is technically in the basement of the Sneaker Hut).
Coin 16: Waiting in Complaint Line Inside Factory - No Requirements
South of the main desk in the Sword Factory is a complaint line. Stand at the end of the line long enough and the tree will turn into a coin. If it doesn't work for you the first time, get there with more time on the clock.
Coin 17: Boring Tunnel in Factory - Press Pass
In the southern part of the Sword Factory there's a room with a large boring machine. Hit the two arms to release the machine and then hit the machine to turn it on. It'll create a large tunnel with a coin in it.
Coin 18: Back of Truck in Factory - Press Pass
Inside the warehouse of the Sword Factory is a truck that you can get into. In the back of the truck is a coin.
Coin 19: Mine Near Factory - Grinder
After you get the Grinder, you'll find a box in the mine that is in your way. Destroy the box, go south, and follow the convyer belts until you find the chest with the coin in it.

Below is a list of all 19 coin locations. You can use the televator room in the basement of each home to track your progress if you want.
1. Use boxes to make a bridge behind the bar, it'll take you to a treasure chest with a coin
2. In the factory, go down until you find a drill with two arms holding it. Hit the arms to turn them around, and then hit the drill.
3. Left of the sneaker hut, there's a gap in the rocks. Break your way through and follow the path to another chest, with a coin.
4. In the dumpster next to the sneaker hut. Hit the lid with your sword to find it.
5. On the small island southwest of the lighthouse, in a chest.
6. Under the waterfall just north from the first house. You'll need the flippers.
7. When you reach the endless desert, go up at your first opportunity and follow the rock wall. Eventually you'll reach the other side of the factory, with a sign pointing towards "Ruins". Follow it to the abandoned truck, and you'll find a chest.
8. Head to the secret temple with your watering can, and when you get inside, go right, putting out the fire. You'll need to reach the end of this room without getting hit, so go slow, put out as much of the fire as you can to clear yourself a space. If you do get hit, you'll need to die and try again.
9. Right near the sign maker, there's a section of ground that's difficult to walk in. Stand still while you're in it, and eventually you'll drop underground. Go south and you'll find a chest.
10. Just outside the bar, you'll find a pot that requires multiple hits to break, which will reveal a staircase. Head inside and go north, and you'll find a room with 5 or 6 bats. Kill them all, and a gate will open, leading you to an island with a chest.
11. From the island with coin #10, head back down the stairs and use your flippers to enter the underground river to your left, which takes you to another chest.
12. Up one screen from the first house, you'll see an X on the ground. Go underground and walk to the same spot on the screen where the X was, and you'll find a hidden path that takes you to a chest.
13. Inside the breakable pot in the first house.
14. Walk around the back of the hotel and near the back right corner there is a hidden door which will take you back inside. Move the crates to reach the pot you can break for a coin.
15. You get this for completing the north puzzle in the secret temple. Once you have access to the televators, you need to start from all four homes (first house, camper, island home and hotel) and make your way to the secret temple. Head to the north room with the four trees, and die. Once you've died in that room while starting from all four locations, you'll be able to continue north in that room to a chest. For all four locations, you can use the televator to warp to the Sneaker Hut and get to the secret temple that way.
16. From the hotel, head inside the factory and go south. Stand behind the guy in the complaint line and wait. After about 30 seconds, the plant in the bottom right corner will fall apart, revealing a coin.
17. From the front door of the factory, head right as far as you can and then head down. You should see two big trucks, and you'll be able to climb into the back of the top one to find a coin.
18. Once you've rescued the hotel guest from the bandits north of the hotel, return to the same screen on a new life and kill all of them after they ambush you. You'll need to do this three different times and eventually they'll drop a coin.
19. You'll need access to the factory and the flippers for this one. Once you reach the factory room with the conveyor belts and the grinder on the left side, push the three nearby boxes into the grinder to stop the conveyor belts. This is required to shut down the factory. Once that's done, return to that room on a new life, and you'll see that the grinder is still operating. There's a fourth box in this room in the bottom right corner that looks slightly different. Create a bridge in the water with the three other boxes, and then push the fourth box into the grinder to receive the Grinder item. Once you have it, return to the mines, and you'll see a box at the bottom of the screen. Break it with your sword, and at the end of the next room you'll find a chest with a coin.

1. In a pot located in the starting house, this coin is found in the beach house in NG+.
2. Once the coffee appears, you can push the 2 boxes outside the coffee shop into the water to go to the land north of where the coin is (You can also just swim there if you have fins).
3. Near the entrance to the cave full of snakes you can notice a small “x”, in the same place in the cave you will find a secret passage leading to a coin.
4. To the west of the minibus house there is quicksand, if you go into it and stand still for a while you can get into a cave full of scorpions, in which there is a coin.
5. Found in a trash can outside a shoe store.
6. To the left of the shoe store there is a wall that you can break to get to the coin.
7. From the shoe store, go south 1 screen, east 2 screens, and north 2 screens to find a ruin containing a coin.
8. Solving the northern puzzle described in the Archaeologist trophy gives you a coin.
9. Solving the eastern puzzle described in the Archaeologist trophy gives you a coin.
10. As you exit the hotel, go to the top of the screen and look for a hidden passage in the back of the hotel leading to the hotel storage room, where there is a coin among the drawers.
11. North of the hotel there is a group of bandits attacking any passerby, just defeat them 3 times so they stop appearing and the coin is yours! (Make sure one of the bandits has already checked into the hotel before killing)
12. Next to the cave full of snakes, there is a waterfall, just swim into it and in the cave behind it you will find a coin.
13. Head north in the sewer under the pot, near the coffee shop, when you find the bats, kill them to open the door and get out to the island with the coin.
14. After killing the bats in the sewer, swim along the current south to find a coin.
15. On the island that the turtle from theListener trophy talks about.
16. When you enter the factory through the main entrance, go down and wait in line for 30 seconds so that the plant on the left explodes and leaves a coin.
17. After using the press pass, head east until you reach the toilet, then head south to the drill. In this place, hit the taps holding the drill and hit the drill, it will create a tunnel in which there will be a coin.
18. Continue as above to the toilet, then 1 screen south, and when you are in the delivery department, go into the back of the top truck.
19. In the mine with the workers, break the box that prevents you from going south, then go a little further and find the treasured coin.
