How to unlock the Four-bagger Express! achievement in MLB The Show 22 - Definitive Guide

This one took a little bit of luck, but there are several sliders you can use, to help your chances.

I would recommend turning the following sliders all the way to the Right:

-Human Contact
-Human Timing
-Human Solid Hits
*Experimented with Human Power, but I hit too many Home Runs, whereas keeping it as is and increasing Human Solid Hits, ensured nearly every hit would be a line drive into the outfield.

CPU:

-Fielding Errors Infield
-Fielding Errors Outfield
-Throwing Errors Infield
-Throwing Errors Outfield

Turn the following sliders all the way to the Left:

-Fielder Run Speed
-Fielder Reaction
-Fielder Arm Strength Infield
Fielder Arm Strength Outfield

Next up, pick a team with a lot of Hitting Power, and fast Baserunners. I picked the Dodgers, as most of their players possess these talents. I got it with Trea Turner, who has 99 Speed, and I got lucky in that for some reason the Catcher was posted up to the right of Home Plate, so I slid in, and,, achievement unlocked!

Using Trea Turner on the Dodgers at Polo Grounds (classic stadium) is your best bet. Move Trea to leadoff hitter. If you get some solid contact to left and hit one passed the fielder you're good. I had Trea home by the time the outfielder got it to the shortstop.

I just did this as well. Damn.

I actually got another one in the same game with him and it counted. Damned glitches.

This is BS. I played an online game against a friend. We popped a bunch, but this one wouldn't pop for either of us. We each must have done 3 ITP HRs, with no scored errors. Glitchy.

All people need to do is get a friend and hit the ball in outfield and keep pressing left trigger to switch different players and leave the ball on the ground in the outfield and keep holding top left LB button.

I was able to get this in Retro Mode while trying to get the 110 mph catch achievement. It took two for it to pop, but in the Polo Grounds, it was easy to get.

Polo grounds. Use dodgers. Best method. Got it first game and not even with Turner, some 80 speed guy.

Just did it in my franchise (which is where I’m trying to naturally get most of these) and apparently errors don’t work in order to unlock or it’s glitches cause I just did it and nothing popped

Right now there is a Daily Moment with Willie Mays to hit an inside the park homerun at Polo Grounds. Complete the moment and the Achievement pops.

Spend 14,000 or so credits to buy all the classic stadiums off the marketplace, unlocking Polo Grounds. Got it in the 4th inning, first game at Polo Grounds.

Took a couple tries using Fightclxb's method, and RL1ST1SP1ST is correct---if the other team gets an error you're not popping this. Still took less than 15 min to unlock.

I combined the sliders from this solution, and the teams and field of the other solution... And I got it on the first batter... Even before Trea Turner

Did they remove the CPU fielders options? I just see one universal one and it messes my team up but not theirs.

I would recommend playing either at Oracle Park (Giants) or Fenway Park (Red Sox). Both have large gaps in the outfield that could make it easier to get the inside the park HR.

This isn't a guide or anything, but I got it without any sliders. Used the Rookie Jimmy Rollins VS the CPU in a standard 9 inning game in Shippet Stadium in DD. Hit a shot down the left field line, it got by the left fielder, he was burning it to 3rd, took a gamble to send him home as he was about a third down the 3rd baseline but the animation for the relay man took a bit for him to handle the ball and throw home. Rollins got in standing up. Achieve popped during my next AB with Veteran Johnny Damon.

I did this in an exhibition match going for hitting a homerun on 100+ mph pitch. Didn't change any sliders. I just picked the Boomers and had Hunter Greene pitching in the Polo Grounds Stadium. Literally first pitch Ricky Henderson hit a shot to right center field and got it.

- Put the batting difficulty on Amateur
- Play as Dodgers (road team/left side) vs Orioles (home team/right side)
- Play at Polo Grounds stadium (RB to find classic stadiums)
- As Trea Turner, just swing and hope you hit it deep. If you hit the ball far, send Turner home by pushing the left stick towards his circle on the basepath and pressing A

To help you out here just player lock on Trea Turner for the game and then you will just bat with him rather than everyone else on the team too.

Took me about 15-20 mins to get this achievement this way (using Player Lock and restarts). Kept hitting home runs into the left field. Worked though. Great solution!

You'll want to make sure you are playing on Beginner batting difficulty and turn the sliders all the way to the left for the following:
 
  • Fielder Run Speed
  • Fielder Arm Strength Outfield
Now turn the sliders all the way to the right for the following:
 
  • Human Contact
  • Human Power
  • Human Timing
  • Baserunner Speed
Now select the NL All Stars (away) as your team vs any Minor league team (press lb.png on the home team select).  Now select the Polo Grounds under "Classic Stadiums" (press rb.png to cycle through stadiums).

You'll start the game batting. This stadium is huge so hit the ball in between the outfielders and keep pressing lb.png after you hit the ball in play till you score. Once you slide into home plate the achievement will unlock.
