How to unlock the Did we just become friends? achievement in MLB The Show 22 - Definitive Guide

Go into the main menu and select Co op mode. 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 doesn’t matter. Once you match up with opponents and the game starts you will unlock the achievement. From here either play the game or quit up to you.

I haven't been able to advance passed the set lineup menu whether I'm the leader or not. What is going on?

Might be connection issues I haven’t tried this mode since launch day.

Definitely not connection issues. I've gotten it first shot with other profiles first try.

Only thing I can say is to delete your cache but you seem to know what your doing already, I think the game is glitched for certain profiles

You can search for 30 minutes and not find anyone. I'm watching a podcast while it searches right now.

I never had an issue getting anyone, it was always immediate, but for whatever reason, it never allowed me to progress... until this one time. I've finally gotten it and every time since I still have the same issue not being able to confirm. Whatever. I'm finally done trying. Not worth it.

Does anyone want to have a go at this with me? Takes forever to actually find a teammate, so would probably get done quicker if we can go straight to the finding opponent stage instead of waiting to find one lol.

Running into same issue myself. Other account instantly connects. Main just searches and searches never connecting. Deleted save from everywhere and still have the issue. Game was just installed fresh to see if I might be able to get it myself with my second account

Try on a different Xbox if you can or with another gamer versus a second tag^

I tried on multiple Xbox systems both Series X and One X. Still had issues. Had no issues with a 2nd (and third) profile.

For this achievement you just have to connect to a co-op game for it to unlock. It should unlock as soon as you start the game. Go to coop in the main menu and search for a game (2v2 or 3v3). Once you find teammates and connect, the achievement will unlock.
