How to unlock the Future of the Franchise achievement in MLB The Show 23 - Definitive Guide

From the main menu:

Edit:
If you go to Options (Gear Icon) - > User Settings -> Mode Specific
Set Critical Situations to OFF
Drafting - Manual
Everything else - Auto

Otherwise Scouting/AAA Roster Moves will also interrupt your simulation every few games.
Thanks to Cky1791 for the tip and Hashmap for explaining where it's located.

- Select Franchise (press cn_X on the mode itself if you started before to create a new franchise).
- Pick the Pittsburg Pirates near the bottom of the teams and press cn_start to advance to the next screen.
- Turn CPU TRADING to Off and then press cn_A to advance.
- Auto Manage all of the tasks (not sure if it's important or not for this achievement). Press cn_start to advance and select Regular Season.
- Select Sim to Draft Day on the right and select Yes.

If any pop-up pops up, just press OK.

On July 8th, a screen will pop up.
- Select Sim To Draft on the right
- Yes
- Go to Draft.
- Select Skip and Go To Draft..
- Select Start Draft in the middle of the screen.
- Select View Prospects and press cn_A on anybody and draft them (not Add to Draft Queue).

The achievement will either pop right after drafting them or at the end of the draft (after 3 or 4 draft picks, you're able to press cn_start and Sim the rest of the draft).

@Cky1791 is that setting located in the same spot as the CPU trading option?

I still have to play games... does this setting even do anything?

@FiteTalk YT, are you doing it in Franchise mode? If so, I never had to play a single game getting this achievement. I followed the solution 3 or 4 times and never had to play a game.

when i try to draft a player a lock symbol appears i can only simulate the entire draft

@Esl4b0n I just ran through the solution again and had a lock symbol on a guy in the draft after i Add to Draft Queue him.

I might be wrong on this, but if it's not your teams draft pick selection, you'll have a lock on them when you try to draft a player. Happened to me twice, the 2nd time I realized it wasn't my teams pick at the moment.

You can either restart the whole franchise again and sim to the draft which will take less than 5 minutes, or you press the start button in the draft (3 horizontal lines on controller) and sim to your teams next pick.
