How to unlock the 40/40 Watch? achievement in MLB The Show 24 - Definitive Guide

This one can go hand in hand with the Red Hot Baserunning achievement as well. If you follow that guide and use the Phillies with Trea Turner leading off, steal as many bases as you need with him. Then at his next at bat crank the sliders for human power, contact, etc to max and make contact with a pitch and you should have no problem slamming one out. Worst case is a foul or out in which case just restart and try again.

Do you need to be player locked and manually steal the base? Have tried using LT with a batter at the plate with runners on and succesfully stolen many bases with people who have hit home runs and nothing has unlocked yet.

This guide may help those who are unfamiliar with Baseball, like myself.

So after "stealing" every base with every player and then hitting a HR this achievement would not unlock, had similar issues with Red Hot Baserunning too - the commentators would also mention that certain players had so many steals.

Now I don't know what constitutes a "steal" in baseball, but it seems that you need to not hit the ball as the batter when attempting a steal, this only really works with a fast player stealing 2nd, stealing 3rd in the same manner was impossible for me, I was using Turner from the Phillies with sliders maxed where needed.

So using the Phillies against the Barons I would bunt with Turner and then steal second base whilst not attempting a shot with batter no2, when it came back round to Turner I maxed the human contact etc sliders and hit a HR with Turner and cheevo popped - I was playing at Tropicana Stadium too, apparently the smallest or one of.

Hopefully this helps.
