Start an exhibition game and make sure you're playing as the AWAY TEAM (left side I'm pretty sure)
When the game starts, you'll be batting right away. Simply get a hit on the very first PITCH. If you mess up, you can pause, and then restart the game to try again.
If you play on rookie (easiest difficulty) it shouldn't be too difficult. The CPU will also always throw strikes on rookie, and usually right down the middle.

This unlocked for me playing as the home team FYI.

This unlocks on either side as long as its the first pitch you face. It can also be a HR.
