A really simple way to do this is play the game on Easy and fly by every enemy. If you should die from instant kill, hit return to main menu and reload the game. Retrying counts against you. For added insurance, I exited the game completely and restarted just in case.

I got this achievement (on my 2. Acount) by playing this game on normal, after the credits. I was dying a lot..

I can confirm this can unlock after starting New Game +. What I did after beating the final boss the first time. I went back again and ran through the last area without dying. Got to the boss beat it again and got the achievement.

I can confirm that you can die as much as you want, so long as you never select "Retry". Always go back to the main menu and continue from your save manually. I did this on my first playthrough, which was on Hard difficulty, and I died a LOT. But I never bothered with "retry" and still got the achievement at the end.
