How to unlock the Great Income achievement in MONOPOLY PLUS - Definitive Guide

Start a 6 player local game using 1 controller. All human, no AI.

After you start the game just auction every property that every player lands on and win them all with your player until you get a set of 3 to build on. The first set of property you can earn over M700 is the light purple set with Virginia Avenue, States Avenue and St. Charles Place. You will need to build hotels on these properties to earn that much.

You can build on more property, just make sure the houses or hotels needed are on the property to earn over the M700.

If you don't have enough money, just trade with another player where you give M1 and take all you need from the another player.

Once the property can earn over M700, just keep rolling the dice until another player lands on it and pays you rent.

Achievement pops.

Used house rules that when you land on GO you can go anywhere, put player on one over 700 and boom. Took over a minute to pop though.

Good guide just want to add one thing. Using the house rule property improvements will allow a player to build houses and hotels on a property with out having to obtain all properties of the same color. I popped the achievement on Virginia on my second turn

This trophy seems pretty straight forward. Collect $700 worth of rent at once. There's one minor problem: if the player goes bankrupt while paying you rent, it doesn't count. So if rent is $1500 and they can only collect $1000, it doesn't count even though you got $1000 worth of rent.

This can easily be done locally. Build up some property and wait for the other player (potentially also controlled by you) to land on it. Trade them enough to pay the rent and survive the round. Once they've paid, the trophy unlocks.

In order for you to collect greater than M700 you will need a property high enough (pink in color or higher) and will need to have it stacked with a few houses or better yet a hotel. A hotel can be acquired when you have built four houses on the property and then trade them in for a hotel by again using the .

To earn this trophy, simply collect a rent payment of more than M700. Please see Step 1 above for further information about setting up this trophy. The eligible properties (noted with the minimum required setup of houses and/or hotels) for this trophy are:

  • St. Charles Place (with 1 hotel) - M750
  • States Avenue (with 1 hotel) - M750
  • Virginia Avenue (with 4 houses) - M700
  • St. James Place (with 4 houses) - M750
  • Tennessee Avenue (with 4 houses) - M750
  • New York Avenue (with 4 houses) - M800
  • Kentucky Avenue (with 3 houses) - M700
  • Indiana Avenue (with 3 houses) - M700
  • Illinois Avenue (with 3 houses) - M750
  • Atlantic Avenue (with 3 houses) - M800
  • Ventor Avenue (with 3 houses) - M800
  • Marvin Gardens (with 3 houses) - M850

It is enough to receive a rent payment of 700M more once from a player who lands on your property. This is at least 3-4 houses built on it or 1 hotel (depending on the base rent).
