This achievement is unlocked for defeating Magnamalo (the flagship/mascot monster of Rise) in the story village quests. The hunt will be your Urgent Quest to progress into 5* hunts.
Magnamalo is weakest to water, so bring your best water element weapon. The monster also heavily and frequently inflicts Blastblight, so deoderant items are very helpful here. If your Palico is set to healer, they will also frequently place the little healing plants and the mist sprayer to remove blights.
