How to unlock the Dreadnought Destroyer Plaque achievement in Monster Hunter Rise - Definitive Guide

This one is self explanatory, but has a catch. Any monster killed or captured will count, except ones from rampage quests. Only the final monster that can be carved will be counted for rampage quests.

After counting all large monsters you defeat in the game, 57 monsters come from Village quests if you do all including the special license quests. 49 monsters without special license. 172 monsters from all the hub quests with large monsters in them. So in total, assuming special licenses were skipped. At least 221 monsters will come from completing all low/high rank quest achievements and 779 will be remaining.

Has anyone counted how many monsters would be left after completing the low/high rank achievements for completing all quests?

@Asmoden thanks, that is just what I wanted to know. It will probably make a lot of this unnecessary or much easier to grind.

Does anyone know if this has to be done on one singular character, or can it span across different playthroughs?

You should add that hunted monsters before leaving early or defeat also count.

For people grinding this before Sunbreak, I think there is a Sunbreak achievement for hunting 1000 master rank monsters (looking at Steam achievements). So you may want to hold off grinding this to combine with the other achievement if you intend to complete both.

Does anyone know if they are going to release DLC for this game? I know it originally launched for the Nintendo Switch. Having that said, after you entered Master Rank on Monster Hunter World there was a huge increase in gear stats. You could go back and hunt low rank monsters and be done in literal seconds.

I don’t recommend boosting this until you complete the game and have rarity 7 or 8 weapon they are that highest until sunbreak dlc.

To check largest monster hunter counts go press cn_start > info > hunter note’s > large monsters. If you use a calculator to add it all up you’ll can get the ideas about your progression

Fastest way to boost is at village quest Lv 4 Third Wheel or you can do any arena in village quest (Village is easier than hub). Arena is much faster they can’t run away and you get max spiritbirds right away you get max out stats from petalace. Before you start go to Canteen eat the Spud-luck (Dango weakener) and Mint-iature (dango boost). You have to eat before starting that quest so Dango Weakener can work it will decrease large monster hp and damage.

To be honest I don’t know if rampage does count if it does then it’ll be faster than arena . Anyone can confirm ? I need to do research 🔬

Edit: I found out that every large monster hunted down in Rampage doesn’t add up to Hunter’s Notes therefore Rampage doesn’t count

To speed it up you’ll need might seed, demon powder and demon drug they can stacked up with each other. You don’t need to gathered this thing you can let your buddy do it for you at Buddy Plaza (Go to buddy plaza and talk to the Argosy). When you do trade request get might seed , Godbugs and bitterbug or honey whatever is less (to make catalyst for demondrug) . Go to Buddy Bargaining I always pick ez-pz bargain I’ve notice it actually gives that most item. You don’t wanna waste time keep going to that buddy plaza once you’re stocked up just go to buddy plaza after every 10 quest that you completed .

Might seed + godbug = demon powder
Catalyst + mightseed = demondrug

Use demon powder, demondrug and mightseed when you start. It’s recommending to do the all that argosy quest to unlocked all the submarine.

I’ve recommend to have an armor set , jewel and talisman with mostly of offensive active skills much as possible you don’t need defensive skill on village quest it’s too easy .
