How to unlock the Fan of True Ascendancy achievement in Monster Hunter Rise - Definitive Guide
True ascendancy becomes available for unlocking once you complete a few requirements. First, advanced quests will become available once you defeat Velstrax from the HR 100 quest. Second complete the 5 advanced quest and hunt all monsters at least once to unlock “Proof of Power.” Once you have completed that quest you need to have hunted an apex Rathalos, an apex Zinogre, and an apex Mizutsune at some point. These monsters appear once in rampages and rotate once you complete "Proof of Power." Once all these requirements are met then the final quest “Those Crowned Apex” will unlock. Completing it will unlock the achievement. Alternatively you can also join someone else and complete it with them to skip all the requirements.

This is unlocked by beating the Apex trio on Hub missions after completing all Advanced quests

@Enluna apologies got it confused with the fan of ascendancy achievement. Updated with the correct solution.

In order to get this achievement you must beat the advanced HR7 quest "Those Crowned Apex" which which is unlocked after completing "Proof of Power", and which, while not the hardest quest in the game, is still a pretty solid challenge. You must defeat 3 Apex monsters, Mizutsune, Rathalos and Zinogre.
The first and most challenging part will be finding someone to play with. I searched for a join request for over an hour during peak hours on the East coast, the busiest time player population-wise, but there was no one. I started the quest myself, sending out a join request. After waiting for ten minutes, I decided to go in solo.
The happy ending to this story is that I beat the quest on the first try, getting carted (fainting) once, going through two farcasters, two mega armorskins, two demon drugs, two dash drugs, two immunizers, several adamant seeds, and countless health potions, rations and flash bombs, finally slaying the last monster in the very last minute as the clock was running out on me. It was an absolutely nuts 40 minutes of attacking, evading, guarding, getting knocked down and beaten up, evading, running away, healing, and then coming back for more.
As for the monsters themselves, they're just beefed up versions of the same monsters you've encountered before. Thankfully, they come at you one after the other so you won't have to deal with more than one at the same time. Even if they did there will be no wyvern riding in this quest because you cannot ride Apex monsters.
First and easiest is Mizutsune. His head is pretty low to the ground so getting headshots is easy. He's very vulnerable to exhaust, which made him weak to the lvl 3 stamina thief build I was running. His attacks inflict bubble blight, which is cured by Cleansers, but you don't even have to worry about it if you just evade the bubbles. I find that if he goes into his lateral sweeping jet stream attack and you're too far away to get behind him, your best bet is to just hunker down and go into guard. He is slightly weak to blastblight, so bringing bombs for him makes some sense.
Next comes Rathalos, who gave me a hard time, in fact, carted me once. He's a flying enemy and getting at him requires either a ranged attack, of which I had none, or going aerial, which leaves you vulnerable to getting knocked down. Some of my worst moments in this match involved going for an aerial attack, missing and/or getting knocked down, and taking a huge hit that brought me to low health. Rathalos uses fire to attack you. If you catch fire, remember to roll a few times to put yourself out. It has this giant AoE fire attack it does called Incinerate. The area is so big that it's hard to avoid completely, but if you can figure out the center of the area and turn in the right direction, you can bring your guard up and deflect the worst of it. His talons inflict poison, but I relied on my healer Palico to take care of that.
Last comes Zinogre who uses thunder attacks. His weak spots are his head and back. He has high health and a lot of defense. He's difficult to exhaust, but I did eventually do it. He is also slightly weak to blastblight so bring bombs.
Lastly, as general advice, I want to highlight that Rathalos and Mizutsune do have a slight weakness to Thunderblight (two stars for each), so that would be your best bet if you want to go with an elemental build. However, Zinogre does not share this weakness so you might be better off burning a farcaster and going back to camp to switch to Ice (which he is weak to) if you can. Flashbombs are effective against all of them, sonic bombs against none of them.
Traps do not work on Apex monsters.
Good luck.
