Below is my guide on how to obtain the "Frozen Lampsquid Earring" achievement, as well as additional information that I believe you will find useful if you are going for this achievement.

In order to obtain this achievement, you must complete 50 quests in the "Frost Islands" Locale. Any quests completed will count towards this achievement, also, progress towards the "Frozen Lampsquid Earring" spans across: Low/High Rank Hub Quests, Village Quests, and Low/High Rank Event Quests.

First off, this achievement will most likely unlock with time, so you may not want to start off grinding for this. Instead, I would recommend you wait until most/all key quests for Village and Hub respectively are completed. Here are the different quest values for the different types of quests which take place in the "Frost Islands" locale throughout the game.
There are:
-Event High Rank (5)
-Event Low Rank (0)
-High Rank Hub (18)
-Low Rank Hub (5)
-Village (13)
The above listed will total to 41 quests, meaning you will only have to complete 9 additional quests in the "Frost Islands" locale. If you end up hunting monsters multiple times for Gear/Weapons/etc. you may find yourself already at the 50 quests completed mark.

If you are already in High Rank, and find yourself wanting to get this achievement even quicker: You are able to go back and do some low rank hub or village quests; the monsters will be easier to hunt with higher tier gear.

Here is a recommended list of the easier quests to farm:
-1* Low Rank Hub Quest: "Hot Topic Hooligans"
-2* Village quest: "Plump and Juicy"
-4* High Rank Hub Quest: "Dango Duty"
