Monster Hunter Rise

This achievement is for photographing the 5 Rare creatures (1 in each zone). Go on an Expedition to each zone, so that you have no time limit and can set which timeframe you want to appear. Make sure to keep your weapon sheathed when approaching.

I can't figure out how to get a picture on here, sorry. If I can figure that out, I'll update as necessary.

Ruined Shrine

Snow-Faced Fox - Found in Area 5 (basically on top of the '5' on the map) on top of the gate roof at the top of the mountain. Only found at Night.


Frost Islands

Monksnail - Go to the ruined ship in Zone 8 at Night. Get on top of the pilot's cabin near the mast. Look out into the ocean. It'll take a bit for the snail to show up (at least it did for me). You'll know when because the bugger is massive, not quite Zorah Magdaros massive, but still pretty damn big. He'll come from behind a hill.


Sandy Plains

Regitrice - Go to the ruins in Zone 12 during Day. Jump down into the pit with a bunch of Zaggi. To the East side of this area, you'll see a small set of ruined buildings. Go to the North end of the interior of those buildings. Regitrice will be sitting on a pedastal.


Flooded Forest

Quetzelcobra - Go to the pyramid temple in the southeast corner during Day. Climb the big stone steps on the south side till you get to a door that leads to an interior with some Felynes and an Aurortle. You can either ascend through the hole in the ceiling or climb and wirebug the outside till you get to another platform/level. Go outside and around to the East side of the building. If you look down, you'll see another door that you can slide down to reach. Inside that door is another room with torches. Quetzelcobra is sitting on an altar.


Lava Cavern

Hellbill - Go inside the volcano at the Northeastern end of the map at Night. On the border between Area 11 & 14 (11 has a stream, 14 has lots of lava), climb a small section of vines coming from the stream area. You'll find 2 small lava waterfalls. In between those 2 lavafalls, you'll find a small cave entrance that you can crawl through. There'll be a mining outcrop & dragonfell berry bush. Climb up the wall behind them to the ledge, then climb again to your right. There'll be a small entrance. Go through and if you look up to the left, you'll see a ledge protruding out. Get up there and wait. You'll need to wait maybe 10-15 minutes as the Hellbill doesn't spawn right away. You'll hear a cry when he does. He'll land on the end of the outcrop. Take a picture of him.


If you do the pictures in order, the achievement will pop when you return from the expedition to the Lava Cavern. You actually need to return for it to pop.
