How to unlock the Commissioned Work achievement in MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD - Definitive Guide
Unlike the 1,000,000 zenny achievement
You do NOT need to possess all 100,000 points at the same time. I unlocked it with an on-hand total of around 70,000 so just play as usual and do your bounties, and this one will come to you in time!
For some ways to help increase your points, be sure to investigate all monster traces you find, which also helps you towards
Keep an eye out for account item gathering spots.
Ancient Forest: Unique Mushrooms, Flowerbeds.
Wildspire: Tough-skinned Fruit, Round Cactus.
Coral Highlands: Conch Shell, Pearl Oyster.
Rotten Vale: Ancient Fossil, Crimson Fruit.
Elder's Recess: Beryl Deposit, Amber Deposit.
As well as the following account items from monster shinies.
Wyvern Tear, 200pts
Large Wyvern Tear, 500pts
Dragon's Treasure, 800pts
And last but not least, rare endemic life and fish.
Dapper Coralbird, 180pts, uncommon spawn anywhere coralbirds are.
Wiggler Queen, 180pts, uncommon spawn at night anywhere wigglers are.
Downy Crake, 200pts, rare spawn in groups of 6 on the backs of Aptonoth and Apceros in both the Forest and Wildspire.
Bristly Crake, 800pts, extremely rare spawn on the backs of Mosswine.
Gold Hercudrome, 200pts, set spawn points if you enter a quest or investigation at night. I found it in area 5 of Wildspire.
Prism Hercudrome, 500pts, set spawn points if you enter a quest or investigation at dusk or dawn, I found them in area 10 or Wildspire and area 11 of Rotten Vale.
King Marlin, 180pts, rare spawn in Ancient Forest area 4, stands out with its distinctive shape.
Gastronome Tuna, 150pts, almost any fishing point, their sheer size stands out.
Petricanth, 500pts, rare spawn and may be located in areas 15 of Rotten Vale and 8 of Elder's Recess. Seems more common in the Recess.
Any 'Great' sized fish, points vary, spawns are random.
The first time you catch Downy Crake, Bristly Crake, Prism Hurcudrome and Petricanth, you will unlock the following achievements respectively.
I may not have all the life and fish listed that need to be, as I am still looking for a few more myself, will update this list as needed.

This does not have to be at once, just have 100k over time. Anything you do quest related will drop research points from hunting monsters, to grabbing tracks.
Research points are obtained in a number of ways, the easiest being finding monster tracks (footprints, feathers, mucus, etc). You get a bunch of points for breaking off pieces of monsters during a battle, and the most by killing or capturing a monster. This achievement is cumulative and will come on your journey to Rank 100.
This is cumulative, so if you need to spend your points for any reason, feel free to do so.
This guide was translated automatically.
Research points are given for searching for prints, for expeditions, for collecting beetles and materials. There's no point in grinding on purpose. By the time you go through the story, get online and knock out the rest of the trophies, you will have time to accumulate a fair amount.

It is not necessary to have the entire amount in hand, I received the trophy with 35K in hand, so the trophy is cumulative, if you go for platinum, you will definitely get it.
