How to unlock the Death Begets Life achievement in MONSTER HUNTER: WORLD - Definitive Guide

At the beginning of the quest you will land on Zorah Magdaros and the objective will be to destroy the 3 magma cores before you destroy the last one Nergigante will appear but you don't need to fight him if you don't want to after a certain amount of time he will just leave.

After the magma cores are destroyed you will be brought to the barricade where you will have to weaken him by firing cannons and ballistas at him. when he is weakened enough you can drop down to the boat on the left side of the barrier and use the lever on the front of the boat in order to shoot the large spear which will cause a cutscene and the achievement should pop after the result screen.

If you already completed the mission and didn't know about the achievement Is it possible to do it again without starting over? Since i went back to try to replay it and it said can only complete main missions once

I've played and completed the mission offline, after getting online didn't receive the achievement, repeated the mission 4 times i think and nothing :(

maybe try unpluging the xbox for 30 seconds and then plug back in and do the mission again that usually works for me when achievements wont unlock

Under the Medals section when viewing your guild card, I show I have the Death Begets Life Medal. However, the achievement did not pop. I have done the optional quest numerous times and power cycled my box. I have even removed my account from my box and recovered it. Any suggestions or anyone else having this issue as this is the only achievement doing this in MHW?
